Angry Poyet unzipping his coat was the funniest thing I've seen all week.

Definite case of #headsgone for a lot of theirs at the moment, the red card count is absolutely ludicrous under Poyet so far.
  3. Pretty sure that in January we'll be back in for Gomis and that will be all, in terms of incomings anyway.
  4. 1-0 or 2-1 edgy win IMO. We will make heavy weather of this one and the performance will be pretty piss poor, we never seem to play well in these 'easier' home games.

    Loïc Remy

Chucking out time at the Strawberry must have been a bit early tonight then.
  6. He hoofs that, and he scores a glorious last minite winner. He leaves that, and Lovenkrands most likely sticks it in for a glorious last minute winner on what would have been his last ever appearance in our shirt. What does he do? Takes a mega heavy touch and the ball is cleared

The fucking Sports Direct magazine being circulated round the changing room, man.
  8. Got locked inside a phone box when he was skint.
  9. Yeah, it was tight-ish but he was definitely off. Just timed his run slightly wrong.

Makes you wonder if he bothered about sports science and dietetics when they can come up with such flawed logic. can't wait for brummie to see these comments.

I thought he looked a bit shakier and less confident today but he was still pretty decent.
  13. All the people saying it was like the 5th placed finish season today are correct; however that kind of go ahead then grind it out performance is a good thing to have in your repertoire. It would be nice to see us controlling games more often, but it IS unrealistic to expect it every time we go away from home.
  14. Cheers Remy! Hopefully a few bonus points get thrown his way.
  15. I don't think he's a liability, he was pretty good for the first hour or so and then Townsend started to get a bit more of a run on him. He was down the bottom end of our scale today but he wasn't "bad" by any stretch.
  16. Thought he did alright myself. He made a class tackle on Townsend. Pardew loves giving the shit players a run out when we're winning though
  17. Me neither. They're performing very well and I actually think it's down to Williamson organising the back-line and MYM is benefiting from that direction.

    Alan Pardew

Yep. We are in a great position now to kick on, but we'll need to show different qualities in those games. 4 points from those two games would be the absolute minimum expectation. Knowing us we'll come away with one point.
  19. Mackems playing The Apprentice theme tune pre-match, probably indicating they're thinking of firing another manager?
  20. He was class against Chelsea and even better today IMO. That was probably his best game in our shirt.
  21. Spirit of Mark Crossley at St James, 2004/05! Amazing performance.
  22. By his own standards I think he's been pretty good tbh. Working hard(!), an option for lofted balls and occupying their centre halves giving Remy space to work in. he's had a decent half tbh. His touch has actually been canny for a change. Was unfortunate on that disallowed goal, just a fraction too early otherwise it would have been glorious.
  23. Working til 3.30am tonight most likely, so it'll be one of those "wake up, time for kickoff" jobbies. Last time that happened was the 1-5 noon drubbing at the hands of Liverpool under Kinnear
  24. Playing with no strikers away to Norwich in a televised game should be punishable by catapult IMO.
