Lurling and Bombarda - they almost had me going. What a night.
  2. Opponent has Jagielka, then got late assists from Mata and Sigurdsson. Game over. What a prick.
  3. Selling Sanchez was the only way Captain Austin could come in
  4. Well this is interesting. QPR and Burnley just one point behind Sunderland.
  5. As long as QPR win.... Leicester are pretty much gone tbh.
  6. Dave Nugent Can only score when the ball is on the line.

We're only basing "yeah but Sunderland will win" off previous meetings. There's nothing about the way they're currently playing that suggests they even know what a win is. And I know derby days are different, Carver is shit, we've got no defence etc. but they're abysmal.

    John Carver

A pattern of four defeats and he still doesn't understand why. Promising

Their players didnt look like they cared against West Ham, Villa etc. They're god awful.
  10. Home kit looks nice, apart from the Wonga.

As if we'd want a bloody airshow
  12. Danilo to Real Madrid, both clubs have confirmed. Porto will receive €31.5m for the right-back.

    Steve McClaren

We could do FAR better than McClaren, but he's better than Pardew, better than Carver and actually quite likeable. He can work within the structure too. NUFC could attract some quality managers but that just won't happen under Ashley, so I can accept Sccccchteve. I just hope it's more Twente/Boro than Wolfsburg/Forest.

I just had a mega heart attack at that headline. Only just realised that it's not necessarily as boss.... fucking hell.... what a heart beat!

I don't think Derby's squad is particularly great, either. There's a few like Will Hughes, Chris Martin and Tom Ince - Ibe was good whilst on loan - but maybe they were overachieving before this poor form kicked in.
  16. Would love Mitrovic and Ayew. The latter is unlikely, though.
  17. Finishing mid-table is fine in itself - lots of clubs would kill to be mid-table Premier League. 10th in itself isn't a problem. Our current squad is roughly at that level. The main problem is the club's ethos, which is seeping out of every employee. Ashley's regime craves mediocrity and have no intentions of chasing success, that's what winds us up. Pardew was complicit in all this which, combined with his style of play and twattish personality, made us hate him. He showed no shame in slowly strangling the soul out of our club. A "well, it could be worse" attitude has captured some of our sheep fans. Just because things could be worse doesn't mean supporters should just accept things. Man Utd fans were right to be unhappy at 7th place, even though most other clubs would love that. It's all in proportion, really. But with Pardew, we had enough of a sample size to see what he really is - a gobshite tactical dinosaur who sometimes won games with the good players at his disposal. He may win a few at Palace and Carver may continue the freefall, but it's bloody wonderful to know he's gone. Let's not re-write history.
  18. Not beating Palace, Hull, Stoke, Burnley etc outside of that run is fine because, once upon a time, we won 6 in a row? That run overshadows any failings before and after?

    La Liga 14/15

Real lost one on their anniversary, I think.
