Ferguson should've at least been on the bench. Baffling. As somebody in the 'strong team' camp, I'm a bit disappointed, but its a good bench.

A very random thought: Ameobi has 4 syllables but only 6 letters. Can any footballers better that?

I promised never to take the Premiership for granted again, but its already happening. Just feels normal. Right now, I'm bricking it for Sunday. Always hated derby day so much, even when we were a lot better than them. Have some mackem 'mates' that are amongst the very best WUMers and this is when they're in their element. A nailed on blatant 1-1 draw.

Was very impressed with our performance (from 30 mins onwards). West Ham were beyond awful.....such a terrible terrible showing. Feel happy for Hughton because the pressure is slightly off now. Replacing Perch and putting the two streetlamps upfront worked. Just a quality feeling More of this please.

I think Hughton will put him at RB because he'd be desperate to fit him in, but there'd be no reason to drop Mike/Colo. As a compromise, he accidently plays him in his strongest position.
