Nah, I trust Bill, he's only been looking for investment for countless years now. Bet it's a plethora of unfortunate circumstances which have prevented him securing massive investment.
same, nowt wrong with the bar lasses either
last game i was in for was city, was a canny atmosphere for a bar tbf
used to like players, mainly for the massive screen, beers the absolute pits tho
On a related note, if only the Cluny showed footy. My fucking word.
Drogba edges it for me due to what he brings as well as goals. Eto'o has been outstanding for many years - his pace, reactions and extremely quick movement was sensational - but Drogba has given more to his respective teams than Eto'o has I reckon. Technically Drogba was better, also.
Was reading an article in the i I think earlier in the week about Zambia and the poignancy of this match vs Senegal. Was it something like 20 years ago they lost a fair few players when their plane exploded on the way to play Senegal? Lost what they considered to be extremely promising players.
Against Wolves, Wigan, Aston Villa, Stoke, Bolton, Norwich, Swansea and QPR, we've won 3, drawn 2 and lost 3. Depressing that we've dropped 13 points in those games.
We are far from a safe bet.
I like how after using one absurd analogy, they see fit to include a 2nd one.
Just me who thinks the 2nd one is essentially Baba speak?
I want to meet this Zhou Jun character.
"I would love to see Coventry up shit creak! That Italian cruise ship captain has more morals than some of the people linked with that cesspit of a football club!"
First and last post I read on that thread was some numpty claiming he was going to have a celebratory bottle of beer when Jimmy Hill dies. Given the form of RTG, it didn't sound like a joke.
Classy.
I'm not sure what the 2 weeks time for due diligence is going to do.
"Now, let's see the accounts. Oh, wow, they weren't lying."
The bottom line is - from my knowledge anyway - the club is simply not sustainable. It needs a massive injection of money for it to survive until the end of the year, let alone long-term.
