  1. Lee Dixon makes Mark Lawrenson sound like a hard-hitting, decisive pundit who speaks his mind.
  2. Definitely appeared a very harsh scoreline but that certainly can't be used to ignore 2 horrendous pieces of, well, defending I suppose. On the plus side, that performance will surely give you some confidence?
  3. Damn fucking right you're a threat to this Premiership, Gareth.
  4. Despite any complaints, I think Routledge indeed needs to be given more time. I agree that he could become a decent player at this level. Tiote sometimes is left with a third of the pitch to defend. He's a fantastic talent, but he isn't 3 players. An I honestly think having Captain Hindsight behind him today didn't do him any favors. Oh, he's a good player and an absolute bargain, don't get me wrong. A bit more experience in this league and he could become a very good player.
  5. When I've seen Routledge, I've seen a player with pace who could be a solid PL player however I haven't seen it consistently from him in this league. He's worthy of a regular slot on the right wing to see how it goes. re: Tiote, he seems to enjoy over-complicating things at times, e.g. endlessly turning, and while it may look great when it comes off, it's risky. I'm not surprised to see he's made 2 howlers (today and Blackburn, iirc).
  6. I can make sense of it, yes. Teams that should be higher if general quality of squads/previous seasons are anything to by, aren't, and some teams are higher than they realistically expected to be. I still think we'll personally rise up the table sooner or later. That's not to dismiss our wank first half of the season, but hey, it's hardly a new thing. Very frustrating to not play today as we could have really gathered some momentum and could easily have been sitting (relatively) pretty in 9th tonight. Houller's stint so far has been pretty worrying if you're asking me. And Fulham and Birmingham are in big trouble.
  7. Howay marky555. Don't disappoint.
  8. This may not be exactly what you're on about, but although Italy are nowhere near what they were, I'd still fancy them to not get beat more than twice if they played 10 games. The gap has certainly closed, like.
  9. I find it quite amusing that a win tomorrow could see us as high as 8th, despite the awfulness of the first 18 games. Admittedly that requires everything to go our way and I've now just condemned us to not winning, but still, that's strange that a win can push you 6 places up the table, so far into the season.
  10. Beckford should be nowhere near a worst team of the season.
  11. Ask a silly question... I'm wondering on what criteria we can definitively establish who is the worst player in the league.
  12. What's happened to Barton's left hand!?
  13. Not that bad a goalie when I've seen him tbf, Nut.
