Well we'll see but we've seen this situation with the current owner a hundred times before, i.e. taking the idea of getting good value to extremes and going without when the selling club doesn't buckle, leaving the squad short for half a season. Definitely tries to do it all on his own far too often, can't work out if that's under instruction or that's the type of player he is but it's similar to an aimless punt in the sense it leads to us losing possession more often than not. He's definitely someone you want in your matchday squad though, just not necessarily keeping proper attackers like Ben Arfa out of the side every week.

After the Stoke result I realised we couldn't win well unless it was impeccable. I think people were just pointing out that it wasn't looking good before a crazy 5 minute period where 2 players got sent off, a penalty was given, we got away with Williamson's handball before scoring, etc. I was at the match and was really pleased with our application second half, but you're always going to get people talking about positives and negatives after a match. Ignoring the fact we looked toothless for 40 minutes then the game turned would be weirder IMO, but everyone's different.
