If you know the only way you're getting in is by showing a QR code on your phone it will create a level of anxiety in some people as there's all sorts of things that could go wrong. Hell, I'm (very slightly) nervous about a £6.40 bus ticket on my phone in case my battery runs out or my phone decides to die for whatever reason. You also need to connect to the internet every now and then to verify, and that's not always possible (in the biggest business park in the area, of all the places). I'm assuming it's the same with a digital match ticket to avoid screenshotting the code etc and we all know how cack the connectivity anywhere near SJP around the match is.

I'm as pessimistic as anyone, but we're a million miles away from a crisis right now. Some people either have incredibly short memories or need to revisit their pre-season expectations. Or both.

The fact that this is a better team than some we've legit put out as our strongest over the last 15 years is absolutely insane.

We just need to ride out the next few years - become a much bigger club and a much better prospect than we are / were pre-takeover so that whatever happens we'll likely fall into the hands of someone who wants to continue pushing us, rather than being linked with fake syndicates from Singapore / the US. When we're at that point we can chill a little. Saying that, fuck the PL and fuck the 'big six' whinges.
