  1. It would certainly make for great TV
  2. It actually hurts my eyes looking at it. Not in the same way that red and white stripes do...
  3. I'm pretty sure they can't ban you from selling players.
  4. It felt less competitive in the 90's if I'm being honest, maybe that was just because I was a child, but you always felt Man Utd were going to win it (particularly 99-01). I think the dilution of the cup competitions has contributed to the feeling that there's fuck all for 18 teams to play for. Nobody cares about the League Cup (unless you're in it) and the FA cup is nowhere near what it was. Who won either cup the year Leicester won the league? Not a fucking clue without googling it.
  5. So Leeds have some funds to play with. Do they want another goalkeeper off us? How about a right winger with PL experience? Assuming Brighton are funding this with the Gilmour sale. Big gamble signing someone who was as poor as he was last time he was in the league, however he was an absolute assist machine last season in the Championship. I like these types of signings.
  6. It will be like Mufasa falling into the stampede on Saturday if he tries that

  8. I was buzzing when @LFEEpointed out to me that you can use any turnstile you want. It's definitely the little things in life that see you through.
  9. Statement signing? "We can't be arsed to do any proper scouting, so we've just gone with Kalvin. The lad knows the league."

Between transformative and dud? Well you'd hope so. Between 75-80m you'd hope not, nobody is buying him for that much and Palace will just end up losing him for nowt. I can absolutely see us losing one of our elites next summer if this is the way the transfer window is going to be moving forward. Unless of course this Man City thing comes off and we're able to join in with the shenanigans.
  11. Yep, that's definitely what they meant.
  12. There's a huge elephant in the room with regards cricket over the same issue, I think it's partly why they're slowly pushing the local game to move solely into coloured clothing. Glad to see someone has been decisive and just made the decision with regards football.
  13. They were in fairly quick by Silverstone's standards tbh.
  14. Chris Rigg is their best player by some distance. No chance he's still there next season.

Yeah, I remember him being one of the few from other clubs that acted like a normal person.
  16. Yep, didn't doubt it, Ashley purposefully inflated the figures
  17. Buy the land. Then sell it.
  18. What we really need is a hotel...
  19. Can't speak for the others.... but what the absolute fuck?
  20. The more I think about this the more I think the situation with our RW is nowhere near as bad as is being made out. Yes, we could do with an upgrade and I believe that an elite would transform us, however, it's not as if we're sticking Michael Bridges or Fabrice Pancrate out there, is it? Both Murphy and Miggy are serviceable (to an extent) and are likely to put in a handful of very good performances between the two of them. And if Madueke is the potential replacement this window then I'd much rather see Mitchell etc spend another few months working on a better deal for a better player.
  21. Chelsea are a shit club to judge a young player at. Happy with Madueke on the assumption that we're a lot less disjointed than they are and in turn Eddie can get more out of him. Bloke joined in Jan 23 and is already onto his 4th manager
