But only in the Platinum Club? Which is what, a couple of thousand seats at most?!
-
How can it not go to general sale based purely off renewals..?
-
He's literally spoken to the Ticket Manager person an hour ago - and it's renewals only...
-
Surely not? I've asked my mate who works at the club and he said this isn't true? Surely it's renewals only...

Up and down… We’re in the County Cup Final v Alnwick on Saturday, which could be tough. League form is poor. Worried we may do a Gosforth if true be told!
-
And they all look like over priced shit
-
I hope not. My rugby club is there! Unless we got an amazing offer, it’s unlikely we’d move (also we’re there as a community club so unlikely to get planning permission for our ground, as far as I’m aware). Edit: Just realised you said DWP and not the Ministry in Longbenton.

Were there many old songs being sung? Great if so! Pretty sure that was discussed on here this week wasn’t it?

He was getting loads of selfies with young lads after the game on Wednesday. He must have (un?)ironical cult status amongst teenagers.

I knew you’d be back. Your guard is finally down!

I got a free ticket in the Platinum Club, right next to the Directors Box last night. Wonderful view, and I could pre order a pint for half time. Other than that, dreadful experience. Didn’t feel comfortable standing up on an attack, not singing (obviously) until the end. That privilege costs you £950pa. Safe standing in the Leazes and/or Gallowgate would make a huge difference. It’s fair game if you’ve got a ST in recent years, fair play. But i do think a lot of the old guard/singers could well be locked out forevermore depending on how general sale goes. Personally? I want to be singing and standing for the majority of the game - and the corner is the only regular outlet for that - and there’s no way you’re getting in there. Im surprised it’s not spread more either side tbh, though I did notice more standing further down the Corner into the Lower levels which is good. -
I hope Alex Hurst enjoyed his evening in the directors box. NUST paying off

I’ll go a little left field as so many have already been chosen. 4-1 away to Spurs under Keegan in 08 was terrific. It felt like the good times were coming back. Even the 2-0 derby win over Sunderland in 08, was possibly the easiest derby win I’ve ever seen. The atmosphere was amazing.

Did he play a more traditional 442 with wingers at Bournemouth? I’d love to see us implement that style of play. It was clear on Sunday we lack any real threat down the wing (in a traditional sense). Maxi clearly isn’t a winger though he does tend to pick the ball up around that wing.

I was 7 for my first game. 1860 Munich in the Intertoto Cup. Old enough to appreciate it, and then I was hooked. Season tickets later that year. I don’t think I’d have understood or appreciated it if I was 4 or 5. Just my opinion like

Tbf to them, on total sport the other night they were saying they’ve already sold 18,000 season tickets for next season. If so, that’s fantastic support for League 1. Don’t get why they exaggerate attendances though
-
How long have you been in the queue for and let us know how long it takes you to get a ticket…?

I wonder what ever happened to him? -
Owns Citadel, US hedge fund. They basically try to bankrupt companies by short selling them, and walk away with the profit. Scum of the earth tbh.

Ken Griffin can go to hell. Not that i like Chelsea anyway, but fuck me if Ken Griffin owns them… I’d seriously hate them

When Richard Branson said he was happy we beat Man Utd by 3 goals to love.

I have to agree with this. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s sold in the summer or is replaced in the starting XI regularly from next season. Once we’ve stayed up, I don’t think he’ll fit into the style of play Howe wants to play. I’m ALL for attacking flair, we all are. But I must say, I was pretty frustrated when he came on in the 69th minute and was half jogging to press down Chelsea players within 5 minutes of being on the pitch, whilst players like Longstaff were pressing from the very first minute. It doesn’t sit right with me.
