Tbf it showed that something changed. Right from the very game he came back from injury, he has looked a class above even the most of last season. To me, he is now playing as good as everyone seemed to think he was last year. I Felt like he hit form near the tail end of last season but before that was just showing glimpses...could just be my opinion like

Tbf although we lost, if you told me in December that we would be competitive in any game without Krul, Coloccini, Cabaye and Ben Arfa I would never have beleived you. We also lost 2 full backs and were super unlucky not to win at a bogey ground of ours. Wigan will go down... QPR Wigan Mackems/Villa would be a dream.

he was right wing back yesterday for the last half hour or so, and man, he had alot of space! I reckon Debuchy would have stuck it away too like, but was just saying to my mate before, if we were to play 3 at the back, we have the best set of full backs in the league to deploy that system! Falls down when we have the likes of Ben Arfa to come back, and presumably Gouffran has done enough to prove he is worth of a start if he was originally supposed to be a squad player in the long run.

People re-write history quite a bit, Ba was a top striker but not condusive to overall beautiful play. If people were asked to recall our best period last season (in terms of enjoyment and excitement of games) it would be the Feb-April period with the 4-2-3-1. We accumulated alot of points at the start but it was not free-flowing. To say Ba was greedy is a weird one to me, as most of the time he was playing alone upfront or with Shola...he was a better target man than Cisse but Cisse in theory should suit our style more now. Kinda pivots on Yo Cabs' form for me. Dat pass vs Stoke at home last season for Cisse...

If we signed another striker and/or winger then id say 4-6th is up for grabs, but i feel like bringing forward all these signings means we wont bring anyone in over summer. Marchisio is fantastic for me like. In this thread i've seen criticisms (from people i like!) about Marchisio and Pirlo. I think both are 2 of the best in their position in the world, and i bloody hate Juve!
