Thought for ages that he has looked massively out of shape. Gets in shape, hits form again. A big part of his game is chasing down from the front, he has it all back again. I'd take him back in a heartbeat

We did have Remy lined up to come in January before QPR threw stupid money at him. Now he's rumoured to be off to Liverpool in the summer so as a club we have been targetting some very good players. Not much we could have done much differently about getting him over the line either, you can't account for other club's desperation. Yeah but does this need to be communicated on tv? Like Sky and BBC do their own replays as it is so I dont think they need anything more. Just "the goal has been given" then those channels can analyse themselves in abreak in play or at half/full time

If a new manager came in and said "right, i dont fancy Jonas" or even the likes Sissoko and Gouffran (bare with me) then would Ashley be unhappy? We got them for pennies and i dont think it would be outrageous to say that both have significantly increased their values. There are players i think most on here would like to see the back of that could fetch big enough fees, even higher than what we paid (Santon given we have Haidara, and Tiote). For all his faults, Tiote would fetch £5mil-10mil which is excellent considering what we paid. I think a new manager would have a fun with this squad whether they liked it as it is or not. (I do have a point but may not have been communicated well there!) (edit - for likes of Jonas, it'd be biggish wages off the wage bill)

To be honest, if there HAS to be a league cup, then make it what it is, a LEAGUE CUP. Just for teams in their respective leagues. Top 12 get a bye while bottom 8 play to get through to "last 16" gets round the issue of 20 team knockout. FA Cup will be more special as its the only place where leagues play each other. Also, make the FA Cup winner get a champions league place. Will make it instantly more important. Bang, English football sorted!

Thanks for mentioning the corner quadrant thing, i was in the east stand near the leazes end and this really annoyed me. Was in the west/leazes corner and i just thought "are you kidding me?". The getting on the back of Cisse and Ben Arfa when Cisse has scored 90th minute winners like 4 times in the past month! HBA is the most gifted player we have had in ages... Also, was commenting about the female lino saying to a guy who had never sat near my before, "to be fair, she has never made a bad decision that i have seen", with the guy to my left agreeing. 10 mins into the game, "howay man, gan back in the kitchen you slut!". Football fans man! Glad im not the only one frustrated! and this! same with Jonas though he has 1 or 2 more to his name

tbh after the win over us, they probably wont care. They will think "lets go down, enjoy a year in the championship and come back even stronger with our amazing manager marra". If they did go down, they would find it infinitely harder than we did. Also, my mate who is removed from the whole rivalry did say "to be honest, forget the fascism, he is a League 1 manager" and this should be remembered to be fair. I think they will stay up though (as usual, 50% of the league is gash)
