If intensity is indeed our identity then I never see how Maddison was ever serious target unless the price was very agreeable and is probably no more than a smokescreen for other targets. Also because of the progress we’ve made this season we may of skipped a transition phase of signings which Maddison might of realistically originally been part of but now with our style of play producing such good results we might be looking for this type of player combining the best of both styles.

That’s not true. The club consulted them on the cup final for their opinion which any good club should do. However ultimately the club went ahead and did what it always intended to. Don’t recall them ever being consulted on STs. The mistake the NUST made regarding the cup tickets was accepting the invite of consultation then not consulting its own members. This was due to the window of consultation being 24hrs approximately. In my view they should’ve kindly refused the offer if not enough time to consult its members or pulled their fingers out and emailed their members a quick survey and deadline to respond. They did neither which will of damaged their reputation further especially with people like yourself who are already sceptical. The point however still remains that what you said is wrong. Cmon Liverpool are clearly one of the best teams in the league. They nearly won the quad last season and although this season they’ve not been their usual selves of the last 3-4yrs due to bedding in a new forward line they still find themselves 5th. Breathing down our necks alongside Brighton. With their squad getting stronger as their long term injuries return for last month of the season. If they are as poor as you suggest it doesn’t say much for us to lose twice to them.

If Liverpool had drawn their last two games 3-3 and 0-0 like they probably should’ve then it’s a free hit. However it’s still too close for comfort to say it’s a free hit surely. Wasn’t loads in it and agree Leicester in the middle of the pitch had a bit more quality but thought Everton were on top and were shaken with the Coleman injury as much as the goals conceded. Second half I thought Everton were in general the stronger team and looked most likely to win it.

Learnt nothing new about him tonight. Can pick a pass and tries to be creative but still peacocks around the pitch too much. Slightly one paced and stamina not the best. Just can’t see him in our shirt.
