  1. What bandwagon? LFEE and his ...s Okay
  2. Yeah he's only strong, quick, excellent techincally and a good finisher as well... He's strong but not the strongest and shows it by throwing himself around looking for non existent fouls... He's not quick and his caught up by defenders regularly... He's not a clinical finisher and his technique is not excellent with his heading very average also... Good penalty taker I'd give anybody that though but by and large I think he's hype with a lot still to prove...
  3. If he's instructed his agent that he's staying put then there will be very little in the way of false press speculation... find that line of thinking difficult to believe unless he likes the idea of playing with the reserves for a year. At the very least you'd expect him to be looking for a loan move to actually play games. Not if he genuinely believes he will outlast the manager and wants to be a topic of conversation by being available for selection...
  4. Balotelli is average when you break down each of the key components needed to be a great forward...
  5. If he's instructed his agent that he's staying put then there will be very little in the way of false press speculation...
  6. Well, he's quite uni-dimensional, he's just very good at that dimension. I guess so... Either way he's having a stinker again tonight...
  7. Despite his impressive stats last season I've yet to see Bale have a great game for Real Madrid... Every game he seems very one dimensional... Weird!
  8. So... Out of the starting 11 from Sunday who do we think AP will drop for this lad?
  9. I think it was 'Liam Sweeney/John Alder's Black and White Army' could be mistaken though. Liam & John's B&W Army...
  10. Thought Vargas was Arsenal bound after Alexis had been in Wenger's ear about him...
  11. Good post... Things will be a lot clearer in next half dozen games with De Jong and Tiote fit... No more excuses surely...
  12. Nothing fickle about not wanting to put up with s***. I'd say it was fickle to do it first game of the season with new players getting used to each other and still getting their fitness and sharpness against the Champions who've bought big again... I'd find it totally acceptable after half a dozen games if nothing has improved with regards to the playing style and results...
  13. No one's going to boo on the first day of the season. You obviously weren't there against Charlton for the first home game and Dalglish's last...
  14. It was noticeable there was no booing of the team at the end... Even from the more fickle areas of the ground...
  15. Nope... And where can I get one of them T-Shirts!?...
  16. As for Pardew, he's had years to get it right, I don't see another 10 games making much difference. No it wasn't me...

End of the day I'm happy to go with the flow and my suggestion was only based on availability and near a Metro/Tyne Tunnel and free parking so don't let me sway anyone (as Royal Quays is the furthest for me to travel and personally I hate the size of the GK zones! )... Gateshead obviously has the Stadium (outdoor) and Leisure Centre (indoor) and there is also a canny place on Westgate road (outdoor) and there is Eldon Square itself (indoor) but i wouldn't be confident on their availability for a 2hr slot due to never attending them at that time of day and their general popularity as some are multipurpose pitches...

We haven't decided the date even! As a suggestion if we are going for the Saturday 18th then I'd recommend maybe booking a pitch for 2hrs 10am-12... 4 squads (size depending on final numbers and have 6 x 20min games A v B B v D A v C B v D A V D B v C Winner gets the cup although the purists might want to call it the Lockwood League If you all do decided on Soccerdome its £35 per hour for a pitch (that's £70 in total Neesy as i know your math has been a bit off of late ) on a Saturday morning and they have availability for that morning... I briefly mentioned the occasion and they said they can get a cup made also but it is a national supplier but i didn't go much further with it as it might be nice like someone mentioned to get something done local... Here is the links and see this as my contribution for now... http://www.powerleague.co.uk/5-a-side/north-england/north-shields-soccerdome http://planetsportsandtrophies.co.uk

Outdoors enclosed pitch > indoors Indoors > Outdoors open pitch Couldn't agree less. I find it too hot indoor Like I said above I agree with that IF the pitch is enclosed... I.E it has boards to rebound ball off extra... Open pitches are hopeless as you can't do wall passes and the flow of the game is poor due to having to retrieve the ball every passage of play... I.E. a smaller sided version of 11-A-Side... Awful!
  22. Surely AP should be looking at mobility and pace rather aerial power against Man City with Negredo out...

Are you thinking the indoor pitches?... You want somewhere with boards as otherwise half the time the ball is out of play (I..E the outdoor pitches)

I suggest the Royal Quays Soccerdome even though I hate the pitch layout... But as for availability and location etc probably the wisest... Or the Pitz at Gateshead...
