  1. How on earth is this lad still on the payroll
  2. Yeah I think he's really starting to worry about Champs league. Pool are starting to make noises, Everton won't go away and Spurs are a better side than them at the moment. Chelsea will always be up there with the players they have whatever nonsense is going on at that club.
  3. Off top of my head Gouffran 1.5m Mbiwa 6.7m Sissoko (if/when he signs reported to be 2m) Haidara 2.5m 12.7? Debuchy!!!!! Oops shit

  5. No idea what Arsenal are about thesedays. He won't sign quality players and yet he's moaning about someone else strengthening to cover their deficiencies? They used to bash people up with Vieira and Petit in midfield and put teams away with Bergkamp, Henry etc up front. He's gone away from having his sides possess a physical side as well as finesse and they've stopped buying real quality and they're not the same club they were - the policies have failed. They're in real danger of missing out on the Champs league.
  6. Culkin has said he think he's here now having a medical with it being announced later today hopefully Thanks for info. Or rather he said he "is" here not "thinks" he's here. I think I read somewhere that he was flying in last night too.
  7. Is he saying we've gained an unfair advantage by signing players in the transfer window?? That somehow it's unfair on the teams who we've played twice because that means the outcome against the teams we haven't played twice could be vastly different??? What a fucking moaning griping idiot. What's to stop them scouting players and strengthening in the window. They've got bucket loads of cash and he's French ffs if he's talking about our French targets. Mbiwa and Sissoko seem like they're exactly what Arsenal need so why didn't they go after them?

  9. This is it. I think it'll allow him to do the basic stuff well like he used to like breaking play up and protecting the back four instead of trying too much. Agree with all of this, I really don't think he is a bad player, I just think a bit to much has been expected of him. In the destroyer role there are not many better, it's when he is forced to hold onto the ball because of a lack of options or expected to drive forward. With the combinations we can potentially put out now our midfield is millions of years away from when we put Butt and Smith in midfield Plus having players like Debuchy and Mbiwa to pass to who are good on the ball should help things when he's in possession between midfield and defence.

  11. Power and acceleration from clips is Seems to have really quick feet too.

    Loïc Remy

I think he'll score a fair few goals for them, whether that's enough to keep them up I'm not sure. They've certainly looked a bit more solid at the back but they're far from out of the woods yet. Thing is they're bound to have another bad dip again where a few teams take them apart and are characters like Remy going to spill blood? hmmm
  13. This bloke needs to play against Chelsea at home, that's an ideal game for him to come in and show his stuff and we'll need him against their midfield. Have a feeling we may see him off the bench against Villa.
  14. There's also some ridiculous "they're all French its bound to implode theories" being banded about Fuck me we've seen some poisonous, pathetic squad atmosphere's at NUFC in the past and there was probably only a couple of Frenchies in the side. Means nowtat the end of the day, pure speculation.
  15. I think we'll give them a proper game irrespective of the Villa result.
  16. key word, hes clueless and always comes across as hating us. At least Edwards who you get a similar vibe from hating us wise gets some of his s*** right Yeah he never says anything seriously, like its one big joke. I don't rate anything he says and find him annoying. Martin Hardy, Culkin or even Simon Bird are far, far better.
  17. Nobody's heard of them remember, like Ben Arfa. To be fair he was the North West reporter for the Daily Express and wasn't asked specifically about our signings. Hickman who is the Express' NE correspondant only really spoke about Coloccini. I dont rate him either, always has a smug laugh about him, never give smuch decent info.
  18. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y231/iloveshakira/uglybaby.gif fuck is that
  19. I was impressed v Reading. Not many will get much joy out of him and he likes putting a tackle in too. Hopefully he'll benefit down the right as the side develops a bit more movement.
  20. 6. With the players we've signed and Taylor and HBA still to come back into the side I think we can be confident of being much better away from home and giving even the really good sides a real test at home once confidence improves a bit.
  21. Benteke and Agbonlahor can still cause problems as proved against West Brom. They're shot at the back though and after that cup loss confidence can't be more brittle. Lets hope our new signings takes us there with that bit of a lift. We have more power in the side now and options off the bench so the longer the game goes on the more confident I'll be of us getting something.
  22. Who was it that said earlier he could be our new Rob Lee? I really miss Rob Lee. As highly rated as he is, I still think the era that he played in with Beardsley and Cole probably washed away what would otherwise have been the focal point of our comments and conversations from that time. Magnificent player, I loved him. Probably my favourite Toon player....................remember seeing him play in the wing when he first arrived though
