Can we not just get him to lead on coaching headers? Have no doubt that if he’d played similar minutes to Schar and Botman he’d have scored 2-3 headers at least
-
Wolves - Crystal Palace hasn’t got much riding on it and both sides are boring as fuck. Leeds - Leicester has a lot riding on it but I’m not expecting it to be a quality game. Two sides snatching at chances but at least they’ll both be going for it. Villa - Fulham looks a boring fixture to me. There’s not a huge amount riding on it. Villa are pushing for a top five place and I expect them to win comfortably
-
Fair point actually, I hadn’t realised how tight it was down there still
-
Utter shit fixtures tonight
-
Not as a replacement as he’s a completely different player. However, I would take him for sure. He’s a great player
-
Richarlison normally looks livid but he’s actually a top lad off the pitch. Didn’t see any of the issues on the bench at the weekend so can’t really comment on that but he’s had injuries and been mismanaged by Conte all season. With the right manager, he could really work in this Spurs team as him and Kane could be lethal. Shame the rest of their team is abject
-
I hear Levy has this playing on repeat in the Spurs dressing room night and day
-
Rice is up there with the very best in the league at driving forward with the ball and into the penalty area. So direct and extremely athletic. That’s not accounting for his brilliant defensive work as well. He’s a very complete player
-
I’d be happy with either Coventry or Boro getting promoted. Coventry have had an utter shit time of it for the last twenty odd years so it’s nice to see them revived. For Boro, it would be nice to get another northern club back in the league, less travel for the lads when we’re playing in Europe
-
Howe’s man management managed to keep this lad on the straight and narrow. He’s always been liable to lose his head and it’s taken no time at all once he left us
-
Eddie Howe’s unhinged mags. Isak, Bruno and Jow all have the mad streak in them
-
I actually like Martin Jol, as a person and as a manager too really
-
Sometimes, even just ten mins into a game you get a feeling that you’re going to get the three points. Today was one of those days where after ten, I just had that feeling. Spooky really
-
Yeah, he’s massive for us now. His work rate defensively in the middle is second only to Joelinton really but his movement in the final third is outstanding. He’s the perfect example of someone making the absolute most of their sporting talent and should be an inspiration to any footballer wanting to be the best they can be
-
This is it, personalised and targeted management / coaching that is extremely constructive. I can’t even imagine having a manager now who isn’t also an amazing coach. Eddie is winning trophies with us, it’s happening within two years
-
The biggest difference in this lad’s game since the start of the season is his awareness and ability to release the ball much quicker when under pressure. He’s learning from Howe and I’m sure from Bruno about how to use his body better to both shield but also not stay too static when he receives the ball. It’s a massive improvement
-
He’s clearly got his fitness back up, what was missing from his game was his pace and his strength. He was getting bullied off the ball and not getting any space to take shots. Now he’s back to being clinical as fuck and outmuscling defenders. Great news, means he‘ll have a big part to play for us next season in Europe as long as he stays fit
-
36 myself, if he’s here when I’m in my 40s I’d be amazed if he doesn’t become my favourite NUFC player ever
-
That March pen is one of the worst I’ve ever seen
-
His confidence is sky high, to go for that outside of the boot pass from the halfway line. He’s actually such a complete footballer and I’m sure his finishing will become sharper and sharper. We’re lucky to have him as he’s worth over £50m in my eyes
-
So fucking sick of seeing Fernandes’ whingeing. Think he might be the most pathetic player the league’s ever seen
-
He has the attributes of a striker and the footballing ability and technique of a top playmaker / attacking midfielder. He’s an absurd mixture of talent
-
I like his movement a lot and his pace. I do think his head drops a bit too much when we’re out of possession. Although he’s fast, his work to press doesn’t quite match up to the rest of the players I think. I’m looking forward to seeing his game develop though
-
Glad he’s got the goals that his recent performances deserve. More importantly for the longer term, he is so good at just getting half a yard past his man and lofting a quality ball arcing back across the face of goal. He consistently does it and it’s a massive threat for us
-
Desperate for Willock to get a goal
