Based on lineups and Liverpool being at home I’d expect Liverpool to win easily but they’ve looked shit almost every game this season compared to usual so who the fuck knows. Chelsea’s lineup is horrible

Has there been any noise about other clubs being interested in Fraser? Feel like he’s someone we could shift although I don’t know how much he’s on. He’s 28, hopefully he wants to go somewhere else and get some playing time in rather than just sitting on the bench

Normally I’d pay a lot of attention to other team’s fans but Everton fans are completely fucked off with everything associated with their club at the moment. If you add in that Gordon is playing in a massively dysfunctional team that has basically one maybe two creative players in Iwobi and McNeil then it’s understandable why he maybe looks terrible. I’m not excited by him in the slightest but he did play well last season. Hopefully there’s nothing in it but if he does come I think we’ll be surprised by him

I thought they were done for when they went down and there was loads of talk of them being in financial turmoil. He’s been brilliant from the very start, clearly going to be an outstanding manager

Was one of my favourite players for us during those grim years. Always felt he could have been a great player but maybe it wasn’t ever on the cards or maybe he just needed a manager like Howe

He’s definitely on board, we know how good he is with his PR and playing down our transfer activity. He’s just a shrewd operator

I think he’s got a lot of potential but he’s incredibly unlikeable. He also gives away a lot of needless fouls which would enrage me. I don’t think technically his ceiling is anywhere near as high as some players we could get, the main thing he has going for him is a ratty tenacity and a decent all round game. I’m sure they’ve pored over the data and must feel confident about some of his attributes, just feel it’s such a strange direction for us to go in

Genuinely the best piece of football he’s been involved in, he had to do a bunch of things right there and he did them all. None of it was incredibly difficult but it was nice to see him doing the simple things and doing them decisively
