I could watch him bring a ball down on his toes all day. He’s an absolute master at it and has incredible touch. I do think his short range passing has deteriorated a lot though, perhaps it’s just concentration related
-
The thing I’ll say about Elanga is that his attitude is absolutely immense so he will improve and he will always try his best. Those are great qualities

It’s all coming up qualified-for-the-next-round-of-champions-league This lad, Nick, Gordon coming into form, Tonali, Thiaw, Botman. Get Hall and Tino back and we’ll start crushing teams
-
I’ve never seen a CF have a 100% passing accuracy before and when you consider that a lot of those passes showcased perfect weighting and different techniques it makes it even more remarkable. He’s going to the very very top
-
No accounting for the fact he already was one of the world’s best and now he’s gone backwards. Great writing hacks

Has VAR managed to correctly alter incorrect on-field decisions? Yes Has managed to incorrectly alter on-field decisions? Yes Has it not intervened when it should have done? Yes Do all of the above happen regularly? Most matches. What is the net outcome on correct or incorrect decisions due to VAR’s intervention in the game? Fuck knows because the data is inherently biased. Is it worth the impact it’s had on match going fans, and those who are watching on screens, and the impact it’s had in creating even more bias towards favoured teams? Absolutely not. It’s fucking awful and all it’s done has given more power to Refs and taken the game further away from the players on the pitch and the fans. Why incompetent referees have been given this much power baffles me

He’s had a superb start to the season, even his kicking has been noticeably better

I can’t see anyone turning Forest’s season around. They won’t get relegated but I think they’ll not finish above 15th. Rafa, I’d be happy to see him back in the premier league
-
It’s all extremely heavily weighted towards the earliest period of the takeover which is fair enough. In terms of a foundation for arriving where we are today but I do think of the players we’ve signed so far Bruno and Tonali will last as all timers
-
Struggling to understand why Suds hasn’t been named yet
-
Howe Tonali Bruno
-
Tonali Bruno Lewis Hall I’d add Wolt in the mix too because he absolutely will be but let’s keep it to the three above for now. Burn could have sneaked in if he’d been younger

Finding the BBC Sport’s churn of articles on the “big” clubs pathetic, us included. Just constant articles that have fuck all content or insight. I can just ignore them but I think it’s a pathetic journalistic output for how it focuses on the biggest teams with the most money

“Here man, I kna he scored but just imagine if he didn’t. Just imagine that. Unbelievable to miss that like, can’t believe he missed it but blazing it. I kna he scored but also, the way I see it, he missed it because I thought it was gannin over”
-
The only thing that will hold him back is match fitness. He’s already shown this season that he’s a massive addition to our play going forwards. Him and Nick are going to be lethal together
-
That’s a good thing though in my opinion, if Hall is only out for a short period then we manage to reduce the number of games Burn plays there. My mate was saying yesterday that Trippier LB, Botman LCB, Schar RCB and Thiaw RB would give more balance and I agree but I don’t think Howe would ever drop Burn from LB for Trippier unless he moved him to LCB

In a rare turnaround, I’m actually welcoming this international break. Think the players and team need it because of the injuries we’ve had. Going into a break off a couple of wins is huge as well. Think we’ll do Benfica and Brighton then go on a proper run of form
-
Thought he played well today. His cutting inside was excellent. Made a few poor decisions but overall was another step in the right direction
-
Just get him right, he’s an absolutely essential player for us. Don’t take any chances
-
I agree, I think that side of his game will massively improve but I don’t think his touch will
