So fucking predictable. Santon is out in place of Raylor and everyone starts wondering if he's not performing in training. Then comes on and looks quality on the ball. Ben Arfa is not getting games and people wonder if he's not properly match fit? Are you fucking kidding me, how is he going to get match fit with his arse on the bench, and on top of that, in the games he has played, he's showed some quality flashes. just infuriating
-
sickening if HBA doesn't get any game time
-
Good point but if tiote is angling for a move (we have no idea really what he wants)then mceachran is a fantastic talent.his left foot is brilliant
-
Love mceachran.would take £20m plus mceachran.still,it's not what we need.tiote's role is second only to cool's in the side
-
Have absolutely no problem whatsoever with him leaving. Not good enough on the ball, defensively he's passable against poor teams. I'm not going to slate him and call him an awful player like many did at the start of the season but he's certainly not good enough to push us on. If we are pushing on.... it's difficult to tell right now
-
Think Fergie will develop into a really good player. He's excellent on the ball, haven't seen enough of him on defensive duties but if he could go LB in a year's time and Santon to RB, we'd potentially be strong at full backs. We'll just have to see how Ferguson develops
-
Stupidly thought he was wank for a few years before realising he's an excellent player. He's far better than Carrick and Anderson in my opinion. Good luck Darren
-
I read those comments as a joke. I thought that some website was doing it as a spoof of his recent outbursts? Are they real? If so, then he has lost it. I had respect for him standing up for his team but talking shit is weak and an indication that he can't handle the pressure
-
I just think he gets ideas in his head and becomes incredibly stubborn about them. I think that's a weak quality in any person Edit: As an addition, I've lost faith in his selections. I don't think he always picks people based on their ability but based on systems that he thinks will work. I'm sorry but sometimes you just need to get your best players on the pitch in their best positions

I'm livid about this. Really infuriating, we have a player that can open up defences, especially shit ones like Norwich. A player who can bring others into the game and he is left out for Obertan or Shola. Absolutely appalling decision making from Pardew. I'm attempting to control myself about it but it's so fucking annoying. If we had to play Obertan or Shola I could understand it, if B Arfa was injured or if we just didn't have him. But how on earth is he not getting a game when he's so much better on the ball than anyone else in our team? It's like the Santon situation, not getting games over Raylor? Just inexplicably poor
-
Seriously misguided. Worryingly so when it comes to his selections both starting and substitutions. Santon is so obviously better than Raylor and should have been in ages ago. Shola just doesn't offer enough compared to Best or Ben Arfa, this needs to change. Smith shouldn't ever get another game for us. We need to figure out a formation where Raylor doesn't play again. I suggest Ferguson LB with Santon RB while Colo is injured. Then, when he's fit again, Simpson potentially can go back to RB and Santon becomes a LB. Gutted with some of his decisions
-
He's chosen a gameplan and the personnel to suit, HBA wouldn't fit into this game because the ball has been pinged from one end to the other. Totally disagree with HBA not being suited. We've looked good with the ball on the floor. We need people who can retain the ball not Ryan Taylor and Obertan passing it out to the crowd every few minutes. Get HBA on and get Best on. Two players who are technically more able than Taylor and Obertan. Then we can really have a go at Norwich who are actually wank
-
This, it's one of the few sections of our side that I would want even if everyone was fit
-
3-2 to them. Shola to score a disgusting goal after playing badly, Jonas to score a sweetly hit one from inside the box
-
These team selections just get me down. Shola starting ahead of Best/Arfa? Smith on bench? Pardew gets the best out of people on the pitch and uses good tactics but I really think his major failing is seeing the qualities of players.

That's pathetic but I like his abuse of Neville in the other bbc article. He is a good lad

If they thought the difference between the two sales was £15m and they got it, why is it mental? Chelsea are the club that got stung, not Liverpool. They managed to get Suarez out of the whole scenario and he's as good as the two combined, even if he is a detestable creature. This is just plain crap logic Eric. The Suarez line is a completely different argument, there was no way of telling he'd be as good as he is. How can you say Liverpool didn't get stung when they could have forced Chelsea's hand to pay the £50m fee without Carroll being involved. It was their choice what they made Chelsea pay up. This left them with whatever they wanted to outlay on a player purchase. So let's say, £35m of that purchase was always going to go on a player(s). Well, they've spent it, that money no longer exists for them. What they got instead was a player on high wages who has been really shocking for them. They can't spend that money in the next window, so either way you look at it, financial fair play, money in the bank, they got done man. Look at the wider scope of it. You may want to say that theoretically, there was no way of telling Carroll would be this bad but then you'd have to make the point, he'd only really had half a season first team football in the PL. Terrible decision from Liverpool. I say all this and Carroll was my favourite NUFC player from the championship season up until his departure. Even with all the shit flying round about him in the papers, he was an incredibly exciting player, the way he drove us on and dictated games for us. He'll never be like that for Liverpool
-
Anyone seen Moneyball? Basically what Liverpool did in the last transfer window is the exact opposite of how Fenway go about business for Boston Red Sox. I don't follow the sport so I don't know if they still do loads of sabermetrics and aim to buy in cheap but it just seems bizarre that Henry would take over Liverpool and allow that kind of shit spending to go on. I guess he just doesn't know the game at all
-
If ever there was a reason why no one on this forum and no supporter should ever use the words 'in pards we trust', there it is in Ash's post. It makes me feel sick, it's football man you pansy

This is too much. Can't keep reading all this bad news. Our two centre backs, the main reason we are where we are... cannot describe how gutted I am. The taylor injury is the killer but this is just horrendous news. I am a massive optimist but we're looking at a period until the end of the year and season where we're going to be fielding a horrifying defence. Raylor was appalling on Saturday... I don't know where I'm going with this, if we don't make CB our main priority in the transfer window we're a joke. If all this talk of Kadar not being rated by the NUFC management is true, then why haven't we got other options waiting in the wings?
-
He hasn't got it all though,he's actually really really bad at dribbling due to lacking close control. This is the reason he can very rarely take anyone on and his attempts to do it involve dancing around the ball rather than actually moving it past the defender and pulling away from them. He has quick feet but he can't drop his shoulder at all. He can't accelerate past people unless he's already running. The only way he'll beat a man is if he's doing a Gareth Bale type run where he's already at full speed. He can't just generate it from nothing. Everytime he tries, he just does some shit stepovers and couple of feints and then passes it backwards or loses it. Still think there's a good player in there but he needs so much work
-
Steve Kean. I never thought I'd hate a manager as much as Phil Brown but I f***ing hate this lying sack of s***. His face when he talks and his endless lies about how it doesn't affect him. You're a c*** mate and almost everyone can't wait till you're out of a job
-
I disagree, he does have end product and strikes a great cross. His problem is that he doesn't get into enough situations where he can use it. Too often he has the ball at his feet, should just run at someone, looks like he's going to and then all of a sudden, he stops, doesn't seem to know what to do, thinks too much, tries to do a really simple pass and loses it. When he has space, he hits a sweet cross
-
Never want to see him play left back again. Thanks for your goals, thanks for your non-smiley face but my god, you cannot ever play there again, that was a crucifixion today. Just an endless series of torture sessions for him
-
Raylor made me feel physically sick today. Show some fucking balls man Pards. Are you seriously trying to tell me that Santon isn't better than him? What a load of wank. Santon's faster, better on the ball and will track his man better. He can't possibly get out of position as much as Raylor and can't possibly get beaten as much. He's also going to be better at running at people along the wing and pushing us up the pitch. Just fucking sort it out
