The lad's addicted to controversy. Now that he's stopped bashing people's heads in and drinking alcohol he has found a new way of doing it. I think he sees himself as some sort of arbitrator trying to flush out some of the shit from society but he pushes it too far too often

City 1-1 Utd 3-2 loss Chelsea 2-1 win Unlikely, one point from the three would be a good return but those are my predictions
-
He definitely played well, his ball retention on the left when he was getting hounded by a couple of guys and a neat passing move through the middle with Guthrie. I was pissed off that for the first five minutes or so he hadn't touched the ball because we were using horrible long ball tactics. He must have been raging for those minutes

womblemaster created a new account and decided to make all his posts through babelfish?

Do you reckon he's doing all these media talks in a bid to boost his profile (for an england call-up)? Because whenever he appears on these shows, his chat is this "We're working hard, we're playing as a team, Pardew has got us playing for each other, we're walking hard in training and we need to keep it going by working hard." Cheers Tayls

Alan smith in a cafe called 'in a nutshell' just beside west Jesmond metro.looked pretty fed up

We need to start a movement to get this guy ousted from the BBC, sick of hearing his depressive musings. He always sounds like he's seconds away from putting a bullet through his head. Pundits really should be held to account for some of the crap they come up with

Definitely Emre, delivered so rarely. Duff was fucking shit for us, absolute mess.
-
3-1 to City, they'll blow us off the pitch in terms of possession and movement but we'll hopefully be hard to break down. Just looking for a spirited performance and interested to see what set up we go for.

Wireside's getting done up the arse here, poor lad. Thought Ji-Dong Won looked like he has something about him from the bits I saw of them today
-
His kicking at Stoke was appalling and today, while it was an improvement, there should have been a different tactic used in the second half other than him trying to find Demba Ba with a long ball out. Totally stifled our play as Distin cleaned up everytime.
-
I really like Best, always back him up but today he was poor. The offsides have been mentioned but he just didn't impose himself upon the game at all. shame that Marveaux went off early in the second as our distribution in the second half was appalling, Best could have done with more help but that doesn't excuse a lacklustre performance. The only player who actually helped us to play football in the last fifteen minutes was Ben Arfa.

Can't wait, just about to head up on the metro.hope we make everton bleed out their asses with some slick passing.just want to see us move it around and dictate play

http://ongoalsscored.wordpress.com/2011/08/12/the-lion-the-bird-and-the-seahorse/ Interesting article there about the crests of the PL clubs. In other stuff, anyone see Paul Rachubka's 'goalkeeping' in the game between Leeds and Blackpool where Blackpool won 5-0? Possibly the worst goalkeeping performance I've ever seen
-
Blackburn - Never to return Wigan - Never to return Bolton - Never to return In their place, I'd like to see Boro, Leeds and Birmingham back in PL

I like him, his accent's quality and he's obviously a good guy. If you look at his stats, they're not bad at all. If you look at his performances they are. He's got a very good footballing brain and has made a lot of his limited talent, when he goes I'll be happy to have called him a Newcastle player, while he's still here I'm not happy to call him a newcastle player
-
Rory Delap is the dried excrement that holds that side together. What a complete mess of a club they are, it's a shame Crouch plays for them as he's such a likeable guy.

Eh? How would you 'instinctively' change your 15-year old habit in a week? For several reasons: Lack of concentration with an unusual object on your face Anticipation of pain Actual pain Did well last night - didn't see him duck out of any headers/challenges, face-mask or not. Yup, you're right. He played without any inhibitions. This lad has had some start to the season
-
Is just plain wrong. He will have a massive future here as long as his personality is managed. There are no real signs that he's lost anything from his game, only that he's making bad decisions. He isn't ready for a start at the moment but any time he can get on and get minutes is good for him and good for us
-
Aye, definitely. Another groundbreaking post from everyone's favourite pre-pubescent conifer. Excellent use of conifer. I am sick of Christmas Tree's chat, I don't know if some people are finding it funny but he's just annoying. If he's still around in December at least we can be sure he'll be gone within 12 days of Christmas

Used all his subs after forty-five minutes. Fail

Absolute hero, love him more than anyone else in football but it's a shame to see him nowadays. He's not got the same energy he used to and does seem bitter. If he could get the passion fired up and help bring a team back up from the championship it would be great for him. To think that his last entry in an incredible footballing career could conceivably be the debacle of his last tenure here is horrible. Great man
