  1. They're all pretty straightforward. Especially if someone fills you in on the name of the character. Some of them just get funnier and funnier the more situations they're used in. If no one had mentioned the troll face but I'd seen it in the crowd against Liverpool, I definitely would laugh
  2. Liverpool could beat us 10-0 and we've still proved him wrong. Aye, but it's still a cheap shot. Would prefer to just get a result and as Jose Enrique puts his head down to walk off we just look down on him in silence

Agreed in regards to how far we've come. Before the season began, I thought we had the players to do well, much better than most predicted but I would never have guessed we could be here at this stage. I can only see us progressing at the moment because all the right signs are there, we just need to finish the season positively to send out a message to our players and anyone potentially joining in the summer. And in regards to bottledog, HTT only feels that way because of a conviction that Ashley/Pardew can't bring us success. If they do bring us success, then he can't be anything other than happy about where the club is, he's only out for the club's best interests as he sees them

About 4 actually, maybe 3 now as Deadmau seems to have died off, or at least gone back to where he came from after the weekend. FWIW I think Pardew should be given the freedom of the city for what he's done during the last 15 months or so. The main vocal detractors were HTT, Wullie, Mick, Tron, HawK, myself and a few others. Most weren't saying they wanted him out but that he needed to show signs that he could change the way we were playing as for three-four months we'd been progessively playing worse football. I don't think it's unreasonable that many were asking for changes to this and saying that if we didn't see improvements by Christmas then we'd have a case for looking for someone who could better utilise the players. WBA was a massive improvement and has renewed some of my faith in him. I think many were frustrated by the fact that what he was saying in the press didn't match up to what was happening on the pitch and felt short-sold. More of the WBA stuff and you won't find anyone complaining, HTT included
  5. This would be the most gutting for Enrique and Carroll, not the booing but the realisation that they left just as we were getting our shit together. I wouldn't boo either.

Actually have a real soft spot for the lad. He's got his head down and just got on with his game recently. He's done the odd wild challenge still but timed them perfectly. I still think he'll pick up too many bookings but his timing of challenges against WBA was outstanding. Much prefer him in the back four based on his last few contributions than Raylor ever and Simpson a fair amount of the time

Agreed, I'm a very average footballer but in the space of a few weeks I managed to get my left from not being able to do anything at all, to ok long range passes, accurate shooting, ok touch and poor dribbling.it's still shoddy but if I worked on it each day, It would improve a load more

I just absolutely fucking love him. Whenever he's on the ball, doesn't matter where on the pitch, I get excited. He can push us on as a team more than anyone else in my opinion because he does so much to impact the way we play and use the ball.

This gimp is almost as deluded and out of touch as his buddy KKK. what a pack of charlatans

Very Well done for WBA. I have been one of his vocal detractors since November, principally because of how the players were being used and certain selections of his. This was a much more positive, much more expressive way to play and it played to our strengths. Keep it up Pards, everyone wants us to succeed and most people want to succeed with you here. Just keep it positive and on the ground
  12. You're managed by Kenny Dogleash. That's what it's all about, sunshine. I just can't wait until it sinks in properly. They have KKK, the drunk, senile monster who seems constantly on the verge of mental collapse and yet he's still getting massive backing. It's going to be crushing for KKK when he has to step down and look back at his ruined legacy. I for one will take a cruel enjoyment in seeing him fail

He's not a PL manager in terms of selections and rating players
  14. Pavement - doesn't get any better than that
  15. It makes for poor reading, the third quote about us being fickle. I think there are a lot of very rational people on here at least and people who know and understand football really well but I think most of us do single out players and attack them a bit much. In terms of deserving anything, we don't deserve success more than any other club but if we got it, it would be incredible for the city and I think we'd celebrate it more than a lot of other clubs.

what? what do you class as an average manager then? MON is just an Irish KK. Above average motivator, lacking in the other skills needed to be a decent manager. This. However you feel about KK walking away for a second time, he is a lot more than a decent manager. If you think playing some of the best and most exciting football the PL has seen makes him just decent then you're wrong. He created fluid football, gave players confidence to do what they wanted to do and played people in their best roles. I don't wish to bring up another KK debate but I'm not going to stand for anyone calling him just a decent manager.
  17. This, he's computer-generated in terms of what he's capable of doing but there's nothing even slightly robotic or boring about him. An unbelievable talent and I'm desperate to see him live one day

  20. Didn't see it,definitely a dive?Ive always really liked Kun as well, thought he was better than that
  21. Wolves... They're nailed on to return to their glory days of making the play offs each year and failing to get promoted when they go down

You're just too sound mate,if you were on the apprentice everyone else would be bitching about everything, yourself included while you'd be saying everyone was quality and thoroughly decent

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Pardew prefers people who play by his rules 'percentages, work-rate, defensive element to their game' over footballers who are willing to express their ability. This will never change and while he has shown how unwilling he was to put HBA in the team, it has set a precedent that future footballers with great ability but no traditional 'run about, track, hustle, bustle' will not fit properly into his teams. I honestly think it's a mixture of Hatem being exceptionally good and forcing him to play him. Any other manager would have been doing everything they could to put him in the team, not the opposite. A mixture of that and also luck that Sammy got an injury and that Raylor/Obertan are so awful. If we had a defensive player like Jonas on the right hand side, Hatem would not have got in the side. Pardew doesn't deserve a single person's even contemplating that he's handled this correctly

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Let's not forget a few of Pardew's prize moves in dealing with Ben Arfa: "He doesn't have the relish for playing on the wing" - That's pretty evident from how he plays there, he obviously hates it. Playing Sammy/Raylor/Obertan/Shola at one ponit ahead of him. Dropping him after scoring goals and changing matches - the key to building a player's confidence. People make arguments all the time which make me question what I think, and make me feel I could be wrong but no one is going to convince me that Pardew has not only badly managed Hatem in the press, badly managed him in regards to telling him how to play his game and badly managed him in regards to not understanding what roles he can play and how he can play those roles better than others
  25. Swansong for Chelsea.only allows them longer to live in denial.the longer they keep this squad as it is,the further behind they'll end up
