It makes no sense that they haven't done anything on the training ground / academy then. Long term building will require a steady stream of academy graduates we can sell off and the best way to achieve that is a top class academy and training facility. It's free of PSR restrictions (for now) and won't break the bank like a new stadium will and yet, apart from a couple of early rumours, it's been crickets.

Does feel a bit like someone is trying to sway fan opinion against him. Whether that's us or them I don't know.

Keep him another season. It's late to get a replacement in now and we're struggling in the market as it is. Even if we get another striker now it'll take a whie for them to bed into the squad and get used to the system. Plus the fact that keeping him another season knocks another £12m off his cost on the books so when we get the same fee for him next summer (and we will), it's all extra gravy for us.
