    Hatem Ben Arfa

This the same lad who's won 5 league championships and 5 trophies with 2 different teams? And the manager who was most recently sacked by a league one club and has won one of those trophies you get free in a kinder egg?

I would say Cabaye left a much better player than when he first arrived, and he's certainly not bog standard. Cabaye did leave a better player than when he arrived. He left Debuchy in place of Simpson.

Still in a fucking sunderland top. Other clothes exist you fat beardy nonce.
  4. Be surprised if he plays again in any meaningful way tbh.
  5. Me neither, always hard to see players doing that. It doesn't happen quite a lot though, all over the world. Landmines happen all over the world, Ian. You're supporting children being blown up.
  6. I can't describe how much I hate it. I've never seen players of such low quality in the top flight of their country - and I live in Scotland. For me, in terms of Technical ability on show; Serie A -> Bundesliga -> Prem -> everything else ever -> Ligue Un Enjoyment (as a neutral); Bundesliga -> Prem -> Serie A -> everything else ever -> Ligue Un Really impressed with Serie A, you'll see a lot of shocking matches, but the good ones are class and there's always daft shit happening. Fuck off hipster
  7. You'll have Ameobi and be happy with it. No fancy dan forrins here thank you.
  8. Understanding comes from reading and speaking about things against your point of view. If you ignore the contrary then you simply seek confirmation of your own opinion.
  9. Let's see how many different left backs we can get on the pitch.
  10. The sale value of our players must be dropping like a stone. Hopefully the £££s he's losing on his asset values might help him make the decision to sack Pardew.

He's not the type of striker who will create his own chances, he needs service. For long periods of time he's been quite isolated up front as the lone striker. These bad times when he's been left to fend off scraps have destroyed his confidence and left the shell of a player you see before you. And nobody ever taught him the offside rule.
  12. I don't think he's capable of it. He is a very limited manager tactically and I don't think he has what it takes to analyse a game and modify a foundation gameplan to suit the opposition. That's why we end up changing formations 18 times a game. Not to mention that he doesn't even seem to have got a foundation for us to build on anyway, we line up differently every game. There's no basic root or philosophy that we work from.
  13. Roger Children is a very bad choice of username.
  14. He does seem good in the air and yesterday nearly got a headed assist . No physical strength to hold up the ball but with his good leap could be vital in our set pieces Floated set penis to De Jong at the back post. Willo to smash in a volley from the knockdown.
  15. Everybody has their tipping point I suppose.
  16. Neesy, that's not possible. The only options are to spend way above your means and go into administration after dropping like a stone through the divisions or spend nothing at all.
  17. And he gets to be a cunt by doing his 'top ten bonus to the non-playing staff' jape on the last day.
  18. Laudrup was ready to walk in the summer over the Bony deal, what chances of him making it to our first game? Hatem can sit on him so he can't get away.
  19. Actually, is Adkins still out of work?
  20. Laudrup or Di Matteo would be ok. Paul Jewell or Lawrie Sanchez would not. Such a shame as there was a plethora of decent managers out of work in the summer.

So just sort out the defence, midfield and attack and we'll be alright then?
  22. I'd make a massive amount of changes for this because our team selection has been shit.
  23. Pardew loves his stats though. If Santon (or any player) is hitting the right numbers in terms of the stats then I can imagine him continuing to be selected even if to the naked eye they're playing poorly.

I voted 16-20 and thought I was being pessimistic / realistic
  25. one of those partnerships where the combination manages to make both players look a lot worse than they are. Either paired with MYM or Colo would be fine but together..... Thing is we've seen them together before and they've been s*** together before, which makes it all the more baffling. For a manager who loves his stats - how has the stats of how poor Willo + Saylor are together as a pair versus how simply well we did when Willo + MYM were together earlier this season not been damning enough evidence to not play those 2 together. I reckon he fancies a bit of 'english grit' in there. Couple this backwards view with the spectacular arsehole that is Saylor's agent and the comments in the press about pissing off and Pardew takes the easy route.
