I asked some Arsenal fans on another forum about this a while ago and this was the response: Seems they hold their cash for debt servicing and their biggest problem is splashing huge wages on mediocre players who so far haven't performed. They desperately need to get rid of some of their deadwood to free up some wage money for signings I think.

We're the only team in the premier league with any scouts. Everyone else just follows our guys around and waits to see what players we're bidding for.

Joorabchian isn't a licensed agent as far as I know (which isn't far ) so he gets around that by being an 'advisor' or 'media consultant'. His other clients include Tevez (linked to QPR) and Alex (linked to QPR). I can't stand the guy, he's a lot of what's wrong with modern football, just keeps trying to move his players along every few seasons to keep the commission rolling in.

Aye. TV is great for arm-chair viewers, but a a nightmare for those who go especially to away games. I've gotta admit, TV IS great for arm-chair viewers like. It's a nightmare trying to watch the game from home without a TV. Distracts from the boredom of viewing arm-chairs too
