I don’t know if it’s always been like this but the assumptions and leaps people have been making about players lately on the back of poor performances is pathetic and embarrassing to the fan base. You read this type of thing about ASM, Lascelles etc all the time.

I don’t think any of the bottom 4 teams will pick up enough points to drag anyone else into it this season.

Interesting. Shame he didn’t win the most important one at the end. Im not trying to argue in favour of him here as it wasn’t really the aerial part of his game that was the problem for the most part.

We essentially need to win most of our “winnable” games to stay up and hope the teams around us get very little. This is one of those games. I don’t think we’ll win but I’ll optimistically say 1-0 and Wood with a goal against his old club.

Saw the Eriksen rumours. Hope it isnt us. He seemed past it before the heart issues.

I really didn’t want to look after I read this but I did. Him blaming Rafa and not Bruce for drilling a negative team is ludicrous. Look at the state of us since Rafa left and he’s still managing to back his pal Bruce.

I think this point gets forgotten too often when people are banding about how they hate him etc. He’s been poor for what seems like seasons now aside from the odd game here and there but was an important leader through our last shitstorm. It’s no surprise the club were looking to sign two new cbs.

Probably unpopular and it would make us look trigger happy and desperate but If there was even a remote possibility it could happen we should be all over it.

I’m still about an 8 as it’s more or less as you were after today’s result. It’s going to look ominous for a while. Unless we win a few games back to back soon I think we won’t have the fight for it. The owners need to go hard for a least one centre back and at least one centre midfielder in this window.

Feel like supporting this club has just been repeated punches in the face for the longest time. Any sign of hope enjoyment is almost instantly nipped in the bud.

In a relegation battle and the speed some of you have turned on ASM is staggering. Has he been good? No. Reaction is pathetic though.
