That type of loss to a club like Chelsea shows how far we’ve come under Howe. We’re all pissed off, we’ve been scammed out of at least a point and it’s against the European Champions.

It’s amazing how many times we’ve been screwed over by VAR this season. It seems to happen every couple of games.

Why? He’s never really looked like a RW and if Howe is seeing Murphy performing the game plan better in training why would you change it until ASM is fit and Fraser can slot back over to that side?

Would take a draw we don’t look the strongest and have almost no options on the bench. I’d have preferred Manquillo to Krafth but completely trust Howe as I did Rafa now.

Just watched that vid. A few times I was thinking there’s no way he wins the ball here just as he regains possession cleanly before moving it on. I always thought there was a player in there somewhere, defended him on here often. Never did I imagine this would be the type of player he’s become. Clark being an absolute whopper v Norwich basically fixed our midfield.

I disagree that he isn’t good enough for next season, I think he’s an ideal backup. He’s been a bit unlucky with the chances he’s missed and he seems to be improving all the time under Howe now he’s ahead of Almiron I’m the pecking order. I’m not saying he’s amazing but he seems the type of player that keeps his head down and works hard even when he isn’t in the first team and that’s exactly what you need as a backup rather than someone that just seems to twist and decline when they’re out of the limelight. If we can sign a really top quality winger to play on that side (like a Raphina), have ASM/Fraser and Murphy as backup I think that’s decent for us to take us forward.

Always had a bit of a soft spot for Rashford as he’s looked unplayable at times. I’d love him here if it was at all possible but I’m guessing his price range will be north of £50m? Given he would be playing in the same role as ASM I doubt we’d go for that.

I saw someone the other day saying it’s nice to see our players interacting to each other more positively on social media now as if it isn’t some person/company running the account for them knocking out generic lines.

By very slight plus side I was talking about Burnley gaining so many points recently. Which on the face of it doesn’t appear to be a good thing hence the slight plus side. We’re only 4 points clear. I missed most of the second half so didn’t see him play. Where did play when he came off and how did Howe change it as he came on for Murphy?

I’m about a 4 now but we’re still in the mix and I imagine there’ll be some nervy moments before the end of the season. Burnley quietly shithousing points means we’re only 4 points clear despite our really good form. The very slight plus side of that is that it’s also dragged Brentford, Leeds and Everton right back in it and I don’t think any of those clubs really believed they were up until today. Most importantly we don’t look a state anymore. Fingers crossed we get there and that should be the last time we seen this thread forever hopefully.

Same. I think it’s going to take a while for me to accept we’re no longer a shambles.
