  1. This is their source btw. Keys and Gray talking shite. "A second offer 80+60 take your pick".
  2. Some scoop from NUFC Gallowgate if true. Ahead of any other outlet in breaking the news.
  3. Liverpool will hoy in a 120 mil bid one or two days before our game with them, is my prediction. It's all about disrupting us before we play them at home, players and staff will be distracted from the avalanche of tweets from their client media.
  4. Hope "Suds" will recommend Samardzic from his old club. We've got cover for Big Joe on the left in Ramsey, and Miley can cover for Sandro. Samardzic is big, pressy and creative and will be a solid backup for Wor Bruno. Not sure whether a) he's still on loan from Udinese; and b) has Serbian gangsters for agents though.
  5. To be fair, that's probably what 90% of the fanbase is thinking right now. Anywhere But Liverpool, even with a lowered price, but with a solid sell-on.
  6. Even if PSG wanted to move Ramos on, it’s now more logical for Liverpool to sign him, rather than us, tbf. He’s not going to cost them as much as Isak; they don’t really have issues in the striking department; their brand is more attractive to a player from PSG; they can certainly afford his wedge etc etc. Silver lining is that this means Isak’s leverage suddenly falls away. If you were a Liverpool fan after tonight’s match, and were offered Ramos or Isak, the votes will likely lean towards Ramos.
  7. Me too - I took it as it's Isak's choice as to the pathways to re-integrate into the team, and we will faciliate that. Which is an olive branch. Which he doesn't deserve.

That's a good point, like. Get a management team in to assess the Isak situation, including the CEO and Sporting Director to sit down with Howe, suss out the succession plan like a proper corporation with a multimillion pound asset.
  9. My humourous prediction is that Isak's next play will be to Peter Odemwingie us. Show up in his G Wagen at Anfield on transfer deadline day, despite us having no bid received.

It’s not unreasonable to think so - any married player who wants to act the rat will also have to consider the impact on not just his own reputation, but on his wife and kids in their wider social circle. These are global celebrities.
  11. So much for “not disrupting negotiations” eh what? The more these tweets come out, the less likely we are to bend, imho.
  12. Someone just posted (on another forum) an Indykaila tweet about a 120+5 mil deal in the process of being hashed out between the clubs. I’d be raging if that were anywhere close to the truth.
  13. I just don’t want the narrative that Wissa will be our Isak replacement.
  14. He's so polished in interviews. There couldn't be a more perfect "fit" for the ethos of the club that he represents. I hope he gets a bumper bonus and retires with us. He must be so so disappointed with Isak, yet still describing him in glowing terms here.

Again, the price keeps going up with every tweet
  16. Amazing that Ngumoha is only going to turn 17 end of the month. I don't suppose he'd be used every match when Gakpo is still playing on the left.
  17. I suppose they didn't anticipate it to be so long, toxic and drawn-out as it is now. Now everyone's time is being massively wasted, and both ourselves and them don't have the time for any sort of quality replacement anymore (with their "brand recognition" they can still go in for Woltemade or Samu tbf, much better chances than us). If Ekitike was the Nunez replacement, they're still short of the Diaz and Jota replacements, and have just realised that VVD needs cover this season too.
  18. For the amounts bandied about, they could've bought Sesko and Woltemade and avoid all the toxic hassle. Wonder why they are so hell-bent on indulging this circus. Edit: By "they", I mean Liverpool.
  19. Welcome hyem, Chrissy Wood!
  20. Depending on which tweets have been deleted tbf. For example that tweet two days ago in which he confidently predicted that a second Liverpool bid was imminent- if tweets of that nature have been culled, it might suggest that Liverpool won’t be bidding, etc. I’m not going to go on that platform to dissect his twitter activity though, too much of a toxic cesspit.
  21. Both Romano and Ornstein spent the better part of 5 years to get to "Tier 1" status, and only this year immediately made use of their reputation to spin particular narratives. And because of their reputation, they can literally be weaponised to influence transfer activity. It's a great play by them, tbf.

If we hoy in a bid; and if it were to be accepted, 1000 percent certainty that Chelsea will immediately steam in and "James Trafford Gazump" us, man.
  23. "He will never play for Newcastle again"....but also "He ONLY wants Liverpool". What happens if he doesn't get the latter?
  24. Swings and roundabouts. Being this close to the end of the window, and with us not having a single established striker at the club would only make us more likely to keep him and do the hard work of trying to reintegrate him. Meanwhile, Liverpool are spending more money on defenders and are still short of a winger and a striker, so they'd be getting somewhat desperate too. A "sour mood" may influence us to stand firm even more, so as not to set an unhealthy precedent for the future. We have rich owners.
