I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up with similar numbers at the end of the season either. A handful of goals and assists amounting to a decent contribution sounds about right for both.
-
Gonna see this dude in pre season you think?
-
I paid about $250 for a class seat at midfield in Miami. Was the game where he had 5 assists in the second half, so definitely fucking worth it.
-
I'll watch that any time it's posted. So many heroic moments that season.

Gregg Berhalter is available, and he's won more trophies than Southgate.
-
Can't imagine it's a very attractive job with everything that has come out. Basically you have to ask the parents if it's okay to bench a player apparently
-
Really excited to see what he can do for us with a healthy season, seems absolutely lethal when he's on it.

Looking at the joelinton video and now this picture has me thinking, these guys must be so stoked to be out of that castore gear
-
It's amazing how you've made it to 3 semi finals in 4 tournaments without ever playing a good team
-
I love how aggressive they are being with this.
-
Fucking snubbed again I need to put the flag in my avatar

Always liked Miggy, but also happy to be cashing in while his value is still high.

The Liverpool connection is what made me think it was fake, because then you get clicks from three sets of supporters: Liverpool excited about it, Newcastle worried about it, and angry clicks (the best kind of click) from Everton. If you were going to float a fake rumor to get clicks, that's an excellent choice.

If he hadn't gotten injured last season it could be a different story, that was his big chance to step to the next level and unfortunately he missed it. As it stands, he doesn't have any qualities that we are going to think about next season and say "fuck I wish we had a player who could [whatever] like Elliot Anderson"
-
I like Anderson, and think he could be good, but we're not going to miss him. Very curious about the fee though.
-
Yeah when you put it that way it's a great bit of business. Plus when was the last fucking time we had a prospect pan out? If anything selling him before his injury streak was a masterclass.
-
The buying club being Liverpool makes me think it's bullshit. It's all a little bit too perfectly salacious.

Aye, you've got to be a real degenerate to watch the MLB draft. Reminds me of this classic:
-
tbf the red was absolutely unreadable in action.

Ouff, how viscous is that fluid if the coins are floating

The patriotism talk is interesting. I'm at a point now where when my wife wants to fly the US flag outside our house I'm against it because to me that flag now symbolizes racism, oppression, and general right wing redneck lunacy. They've been waving the flag so hard for so long that I can't separate that shit in my mind any more. I imagine it's similar with the English flag.

That's in. Last angle on the video shows it pretty clearly for me. One of those that's never getting overturned either way though, as there is no 100% clear angle. In any case, the goalkeeper's fucked that more than the referee, that's for certain.

Parity is great, but the only real way to get there is a hard spending cap. The problem for football is that it's a worldwide sport, so for any sort of cap system to work all the top leagues would have to agree to implement coordinated caps at the same time. If the premier league implemented a cap on its own, it would just immediately relegate the league to second tier behind Italy, Spain, etc. Unfortunately, that level of coordination between leagues will probably never happen, so the idea of parity in football is basically dead in the water. It works in American leagues because nobody else plays our sports at a serious level, but in football you just have so many competitive leagues and it would only take one backing out to scupper the whole thing.

Might as well call it the big five, Tottenham haven't won anything, have they?
-
Yeah free transfers aren't really any cheaper for the club, it's just that the transfer fee goes to the player instead of another club.
