Elliot Debuchy Taylor M'biwa Haidara Cabaye Perch Sissoko Marv/HBA Gouffran Cisse 1-1 draw. (Edit, as opposed to a 1-1 win or 1-1 loss ) -
Would probably agree with this to be honest, I wouldn't say he had a particularly "good" game by any stretch but made a lot of clearances when they smashed about 5 corners in a row at us in the final 5 minutes of the game and was always on hand to help Haidara defensively aswell. Attacking wise he was non existant, but you can't slate him for that because that's the way Pardew uses him and a lot of our other attacking outlets throughout the game, you can't have it both ways.
-
Would take him back personally if he was willing to play his old role as bit part player.
-
Think hes a cocky twat to be honest, tried to score the goal in the way it would look the most attractive rather than playing it safe and slotting it in.
-
Think Anita is being a little bit romanticized on here by some, he wouldn't have been anywhere near my starting lineup in recent games because he hasn't had a single game where hes looked decent in midfield IMO, I understand that the way Pardew plays stifles players with the technical qualities he has but almost every other player has shown at least something to suggest they are good players, I think Anita is just one of those signings that doesn't work out and isn't cut out for the premier league. I hope I'm wrong and another manager comes in and unlocks his potential but at the moment I don't see any, certainly not in this league.

IF we stay up and IF we get a new manager I think he will flourish next season, has looked better and better since arriving.
-
Completely lost his marker for their goal and was turned inside out on several occasions. 6/10 at best for me.
-
What about Ba's handball at Reading earlier in the season? And Everton's perfectly legal disallowed goal at their place?
-
But if we don't play him theres more chance of us going down and we wont have him next season anyway
-
We could win 5-0 tomorrow and my stance wouldn't change on Pardew.
-
It doesn't suggest that he isn't one either.

Not sure why theres so much focus on the fact that hes on disability, theres a bit of difference between sitting down watching the match for 90 minutes after a few pints than working a 9-5. -

Hate to sound mackem-ish but I really hope we finish well above these cunts this season and batter them home and away next season. Every time I think about any kind of revenge I remember who our manager is and my shoulders immediately slump. -

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-midfielder-cheick-tiote-2596930 Cheick Tiote has admitted that Newcastle United lacked the required level of “spirit” to emerge as derby day victors against Sunderland. The Wearsiders won their first game on Tyneside for 13 years as Alan Pardew became the first man since Bobby Robson to suffer defeat. Battling midfielder Tiote was back after injury, but he could not do enough to lift Newcastle after a poor derby display. During the aftermath, he told the Chronicle: “It is the worst day for the club – for the players, for the fans and for everyone. “It was difficult for us. We created some chances but we were missing spirit in the team. “We have had so many games. “It is the first year we’ve played in the Europa League and the Premier League. “Some players are tired and we didn’t have enough energy on the pitch.” Tiote stopped short of apologising to fans, stating that there was nothing he could say to make them feel better. The former FC Twente star said: “I don’t think there is anything I can say to them that would make them happy. “To lose 3-0 at home against Sunderland is the worst thing that can happen to them. “That is football, but now the game is finished and we have some important games coming up. “On Saturday against West Brom that will be hard as well. “Now we need to win one or two games to stay in the Premier League.” Tiote also felt that everybody at United had to take responsibility for the mess the club finds itself in after the defeat. He said: “Everybody does. Not only the players, the manager as well, everyone. “We’re never happy to lose any game, especially against Sunderland.” Tiote revealed it was the worst day of his career too and when asked if it was right at the top of list of painful experiences in the game, he said: “Yes. I am playing for Newcastle and to lose to Chelsea or Man United is disappointing. But not like losing to Sunderland. We missed some spirit. “We didn’t play badly, we created chances but we were missing some spark on the pitch.” -

Has anyone seen or heard any quotes from the players regarding the game? Seen Pardew's sorry interviews but haven't heard anything from the players point of view?
