After last seasons injury crisis we really really needed to add strength in positions of the squad. Loans, youngsters, older experienced stand by's..whatever. Had to improve us in case of injuries. Say Schar and Krafth get injured for a while now. Who are we playing CB? Miggy and Murphy get injured. Who's playing RW? Pissing around with £70m in our pocket waiting for a player that was never going to come is absurd. Yeah we need to strengthen the first 11 but what's the point if the squad is thin? Last season should have been a massive warning that injuries can decimate your squad fast, we seemed to be happy to take the gamble again which I would not have expected with the top professionals we have in the boardroom.

Really disappointed we haven't at least found a young understudy for RW. We did it for ST and we also should have done it for CB. There must be someone out there, 19-23, between 500k and 5 million, decent potential who can strengthen that area of the team. Norway,Belgium,Denmark,Portugal,Turkey..etc There's really no one in any of those leagues that can be a hidden gem?

That draw schedule is ridiculous. Teams in Europe have squads of 30+ players. Little minnows have squads of about 15 but they get told to shut up and turn up who ever you get drawn against. For "financial fair play" why don't the minnows get to play the European big boys at home to make themselves some much needed money. Also having a draw off screen is absolute bullshit, whatever the circumstances. Anyway, bring on the Dons.

It's no different to the slightest bit of contact for a push in the back and the ref calls a foul. Everyone knows it's bullshit and the player goes down at the touch of a feather but it gets you free kicks. That's why every player does it, especially at the end of a game. Diaz went down softly of course but you can't lead with your head. I'd be saying the exact same thing if it was Schar went down and Diaz got sent off. It was stupid by Schar, really stupid. We had just won the free kick from the foul on Bruno too.

Why do people think that wasn't a red? You can't go moving your head towards a player man, contact or not, soft or not, you simply can't do it.

Smokescreen before Parish started blagging

Think this lad gets a lot of unfair stick. (Not on here as much mainly on the cesspit that has been ruined by Elon) He was fantastic when he came here on loan, and making the move permanently was a solid addition to the squad and fully justified. He's had an unlucky time with injuries but if he gets back to his form he had with us at the start then he's a real solid LB. The amount of time he stopped wingers with a dead block tackle was crazy. He may be on high wages but he was never going to accept 40/50k a week with us. And at the time we really needed to strengthen that position of the team. Seems a good bloke and even though we've improved massively as a squad since he arrived here, he's a vital part of the squad in that he's at worst a very good squad player. Someone we can use in cup games,bring on late in games to shore up the defense etc. Will also never forget his part he played in THAT Bruno goal v Leicester. Really hope he finds his form again as if so, him and Hall at LB really makes that area of the team solid.

Betfair exchange closed you down?! Yeah liquidity doesn't seem great except for obviously the big meetings. I'm looking at eventually using £100/£200 stakes and making a small profit (2.5%-10%) on 15/20 races per day. If I'm green on some of them I'll take them in play with a no lose situation and try to increase the profit. That's the aim. Time will tell if it happens though

It's seriously baffling how we didn't drop down to league 1 when Ashley was here knowing just how lacking we were in every area of the club. Throw in some Colbacks, Carvers and Woodmans and the club should have fallen faster than a bad day on Wall Street in all honesty.

I think he'll get the job.......but not yet. He's a very young manager and knows he still can get that job in 10 years time. He seems very loyal and I honestly believe him wanting a trophy here is just as much as an ambition of him taking the England job. I think there's something in it. The fact we have just secured a new deal with LeoVegas makes me think we need to balance the books and fast. Hopefully we're still covered or that deal may have just covered us but the timing is a coincidence.
