Can see Hart being recalled before the season is finished.
-
Bravo shitting his pants again.
-
Well, one would be an opinion backed up by years of evidence, the other would be an opinion backed up by one game. Spot the differene. Just funny seeing the mental gymnastics displayed on here sometimes. By the way I'm not saying Bravo is shit he's clearly a top class keeper. My point was all keepers, nay all players will make mistakes.
-
Surely people classing Hart as shit as he makes mistakes, must now think the same of Bravo?

Adamoh to Villa.

They both seem to have some semblance of interest in playing for NUFC and mild athleticism, so they are improvements in that sense. Yet neanderthals when on the ball and incapable of reading the game. We've spent 10mill on standing still. I could understand just about buying one of them....why 2 ? 5m is probably the going rate for a back up player these days. Especially when buying from a promotion rival. Also Clark is pretty decent on the ball for a CB, it's his postitioning that seems to let him down.

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/daryl-murphy-to-the-scum.1269137/ They are celebrating this signing more than one of their own

At this stage I'd honestly rather keep him. Ritchie on the left and Sissoko on the right would destroy the championship.
-
Have they been following the club the last few years? If there is one thing Charnley loves it's resale value.
-
Balotelli to Villa?
-
Feel abit sorry for him, he really didn't do much wrong apart from the pen. Although Reafing rarely tested our defence.
-
Was great tonight. Seemed to be all over the pitch. Can see him building a good partnership with Shelvey.

It really isn't surprising that the club has been ridiculously s*** ever since Colback arrived and has suddenly been guaranteed a place in the starting 11. I mean seriously what does he have to do to be dropped?! We even paid 12m for a midfielder who's on 70k a week and yet he gets dropped for Colback. I'm honestly truly baffled. When will it end? A little piece of me dies everytime I see him in that starting line up, Im not too sure how much more I can take!

Anita and Colback off, Aaron's and Shelvey on! -
Big, powerful, strong in the air, good shot. Added bonus in that he idolized Shearer. Just the better fit for that shirt. Gayle is not a #9 player. Strong in the air & good shot, based on what exactly? A number 9 should primarily be a goalscorer you can rely on, and that's simply not Mitrovic. Are you really trying to claim he isn't strong in the air?

Taking into account fees, probably our best signing this window.
-
I'm hoping Thauvin stays, will be the best winger in the championship by a country mile.
-
People are massively overreacting. Is he an inspiring signing? No. However, to win the championship we have to go from one of the smallest squads in English football to one of the biggest. We've already made 5-6 signings, with another 4 mooted. They aren't all going to be 10-12m Premier league starting players. This is one of the reasons you dont want to get relegated. Your player pool gets dramatically reduced. £5m for a player who can cover 3 positions, has shown potential in the past (he can't be too bad if he got an Ireland call up for the Euro's)and will be deployed in a league where Keogh is classed as one of the stand out CB's, under the managerment of defensive mastermind Rafa Benitez, I am sure he will be fine. We have all been crying out for some depth for so long, lets not forget that.

Never fully got this Rafa has been poor in the market during his time at Liverpool. If anything over the last few years has shown us, Liverpool as a club are generally very hit and miss. Not too sure Rafa can be fully blamed for a lot of those transfers. Not that he hasn't signed the odd dud, but anybody who's been in the game as long as he has, will have done.

https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/3ejmgf/west_brom_bid_5m_for_ciaran_clark/ Villa fans only a year ago. There's definitely a good player in there somewhere.

I'm so confused. What is happening?

I'm actually enjoying this appointment, the banter is going to be unreal , it's not as if the England set up hasn't been a joke for a few years now. Hiring Woy proved to me the FA doesn't have a clue on what direction it is going.
