    Yoane Wissa

Does anyone have a decent idea how the new rules (SCR/SSR) affect making a loss on a player, if we indeed, decided to cut our losses on Wissa and sell him for (significantly) less than we paid? SSR, Sustainability and Systemic Resilience is that part related more to the sustainability and profits/losees, etc. Under PSR, it was c.£105m total loss over 3 seasons (i think) allowable, which obviously a decent hit on a £55m transfer fee (i.e. not balancing the books on it) would hurt. But I've had a look at the rules and I find it unclear how such a loss might affect us under SSR (Sustainability and Systemic Resilience).

I mean, technically, one of them is a Southampton player.
  9. Probably gonna miss the 2nd half, as at the City Hall tonight. Whilst were away this time, here's hoping for a similar result as the last time I was at a concert, on the same night as we played Barcelona (1997).
  10. Get in... hammer the cheating cockney twat$
  11. Chelsea huddling, but not respecting the ball tonight.

    Dogawful Officiating

Aye, lot of good this decision/confirmation does us now, AFTER he's served the suspension. Bet the red card is still on his record, too.
  13. That Stefan Borson also saying its extremely lenient, but also suggesting it sets a 'useful precedent' for the Man City case.
  14. To be honest, in one way, I respect Tonali for being a bit more honest. Saying himself that he keeps an open mind about his future, takes it one season at a time, (or words to that effect), and his agent is doing what an agent does. Compare that to Isak, who made public comments about being happy here and never publicly hinting he wanted away, taking part in pre-season promo's for new kits, all the while being in the mindset that he had a 'verbal agreement' with NUFC the they'd let him go if/when a Liverpool or similar came knocking. At least Tonali (and his camp) aren't bullshitting anyone, as distasteful as it may seem with his agent spouting off and seemingly touting him about publicly.
  15. Wasn't just Rooney saying it, Shearer also very vocal about it on Amazon, saying even if only 30mins fit/well, you give that 30mins at the start, and go off if you need to. I guess the question was (from the pundits), if he was ill and/or contagious enough to not shake peoples hands, and as he says himself, changed alone away from the squad, then why is he even on the bench? Sitting on the bench alongside others he wasn't able to change with? Thats on EH though for not starting him, but still putting him on the bench, as Gordon is suggesting he wanted to start.
  16. At least Ashley Williams cleared the Palmer penalty incident up, and said that he stood on Woltemade's foot. Commentator was adamant it was other way round, also saying James on Thiaw for our penalty claim was 6 of one, half a dozen of other. And then post match they seem to be questioning why Tierney is in the Chel$ea huddle, not why the huddle still surrounded him, despite him being there for the kick off.
