Thewliss on Look North tonight... telly's on Wearside getting kicked in. The fewm increases.

Noticed loads of tweets from Liverpool fans before and since the final, about Joelinton and how he 'never gets booked'. Yes, the same joelinton on the verge of 10 bookings and a 2 match ban.

Oh it wasn't just a drag back according to the scousers, of course...

Day after I get back from New York ! EDIT: That was retweeting this from the club, which they have now deleted.

I still wish his header against PSG had hit the net. I know it had crossed the line, but the power he gets on that one deserved to bulge the net. Still, from a bloke who's attacking headers usually aren't that great, yesterdays was a superb header/goal, though.

At work today, wearing a Toon Shirt, can't concentrate. We actually did it.
-
Yeah, been on the Carabao cup shirts all season.

Aye, of course its now only 'Tin Pot' and 'minor' to some supporters as we've won it. Look at the list of previous and repeat winners over the last 25 years that clearly didn't think it was tin pot. Even Liverpool would have loved to win it yesterday for Slot's first silverware.

Brilliant to see Eddie enjoying it and celebrating.

Not long back in, watched it at/with my dad. Amazing. Shed a few tears at the end, and especially when Bruno was interviewed and showed how much it meant to him. Similar to another poster said, at almost 52 years old and after so many missed chances, you do feel like you might never see them win anything in ya lifetime. BUT THEY DID IT!!! And was great to win it by playing well, taking the game to Liverpool, and not with any sort of controversial decision(s). Tek a bow, Eddie and the Lads, here hoping this is the start of many. #EddieHowesCupWinningMags

As long as theres decent scope to expand/add more seats/tiers in future if/when needed, then I think a new 65,000 stadium is fine. Shame though, that it seems it wont be right next to/overlap the leazes end of the stadium during the build, as had been guessed.

Its hindsight and what ifs, but I wondered what would have happened had the new owners been American Companies/Business people, and not a state/country and overtly 'the richest owners in the world'. Would the rules changes have been as quick or as sweeping? I mean, not criticising PIF at all, but there was clearly a fear of 'another Man City' with our oil rich owners.

Doing one on the side of The Strawberry too.

Bit hard work at times, but main thing is the 3pts, up to joint 5th, and we (hopefully) came through it unscathed in terms of injuries, ahead of Sunday!
-
Barring Pope for Dubs (arguably), thats probably as strong as we could be right now. But would Eddie do it any other way??!! Here's hoping he sends them out to try and kill them off early, so we can make changes, save some legs/bodies for sunday and get some minutes into the bench. INTO THEM!
-
Aye, for the next week or so, if bumping any threads about current players, can we add 'not injured' to the title. Not necessary for the Callum Wilson thread, thar.
-
Any chance that the 'surgery' he needs is a relatively minor procedure, and something that could have him playing again quickly (even in time for the final), with the knee patched up? But journo's (and ITK) hear 'surgery' and immediately jump to the worst scenario?

FFS.... everyone thought it was a clear red, except VAR.... Once again, spawny scouse twats!!!!!
