    England

Was that Bellingham booked again for making his mouth go, again? 'Kin gobshite.
  2. Just back to the Retro kits thing, just seen this on X from the 1976 League Cup Final, which is interesting and a little confusing.... Umbro Kits, Adidas Hoodies. https://x.com/WASNAPPER/status/1857178085034275290 And the Hoodies were Red...
  3. Yep, but I dont think the 1974 had a manufacturer logo on it anyway, did it?
  4. TBH never really fancied getting one of the retro 1974 shirts before, but kinda want one now!
  5. Aye, seen someone selling those on a FB group, clearly a DaveyGate (or simialr) special.

Had to chuckle at Total Sport last night. I know little about him as a player, either before or since his time at Sunderland, but with Lewis Hall being called up the senior England squad, they (The presenter and Sunderland pundits) were asking whether Dennis Cirkin could alos be in with a chance, given Englands lack of proper/fit Left Backs at present.

    Nick Pope

Ah, was gonna mention Livramento's call up, but hadn't realised he (like Trafford) was also with the U21's, so makes sense him being able to step up to the seniors easily too.

Just seen that after Ramsdale dropping out of the England squad, they've called up James Trafford as replacement instead. I mean, probably a waste of time him going anyway, as he never seems to get a chance, but still.
  9. Shot from Bruno before it too, with the outside of his right, had some bend, and would have been a worldy.

Seem to be having a bit of a wobble since the poundshop Bellingham has been suspended.

    Coventry have just equalised... 2-2

    Paul Dummett

Has joined Wigan on a short term contract.
  13. Dont think the normal current teamgeist neckline is too bad to be honest, as long as we can avoid the added fold over collar, like the Liverpool 06/07 Home shirt had.

    Kieran Trippier

Missed the last 4, went off with what seemed to be a knock at Everton away.
  15. Had a look in the new store on saturday morning. Not vastly different to the previous one, but loads of stuff, mainly kits. Obviously not much of the 'Original' stuff left (limited sizes), but slightly disappointing that there wasn't much/more of the DNA and ZNE stuff in the store either, or many sizes. Was after one of the black ZNE Tee's for my son, but they didn't have any in his size left, but luckily managed to order one online.
  16. Realistically, there shouldn't be any this time. No 'controversial' goal, no real use of 'dark arts' or timewasting (apart from Pope usual 2nd half 'injury').
  17. Just realised too (and probably already been mentioned), its almost a year to the day (4th November) since we beat them 1-0 last season, as I was at a wedding do, watching it on a mobile phone!
  18. I might be wrong, but I thought it was going to be an Adidas store too, with more generic Adidas stuff too as well as the club stuff? Unless more of that will follow once its open/established?
  19. I'd love to see a match from the first season I started going to games, 1987-88. Chelsea at home, 3-1 win, Gascoigne and Mirandinha (2) our goal scorers. Never seen any footage anywhere of it. But Mirandinha was on a hattrick and was being subbed and didn't want to go off.
  20. Just been talking about this at work. The bullet header from BDB, I know it crossed the line, but would have loved to see it smash the net. Going back to this game, I was travelling back from Ibiza that night, and the flight was due to take off just before kick off, so hoped I'd miss any result till I got home (Likely lads). But, flight delayed, and by the time we took off, Miggy had scored the first. People on the plane still had the match on their phones till we got high enough to lose signal. Anyway, landed in Newcastle, came through arrivals and the check in hall was full of PSG supporters, all eating Greggs stotties, sausage rolls and pasties. It was a surreal thing, sitting waiting for my taxi hyem amongst them all.
  21. Seems until 1997 (when the PL standard fonts were introduced), there was no standard, though all clubs adopted a similar 'blocky' style of letter/number, after the first PL season. https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/every-premier-league-badge-and-font-ever
