  1. Stream obviously slightly behind, but fuck VAR, man. Offside for THAT???!!!
  2. Thank goodness Gordon's "Hamstring Injury" wasn't too bad.
  3. She dug Ian Wright out as she feels that being black he should have been doing everything he could to help her out - basically just playing the race card. However he probably knew she wasn't a good enough pundit, and that is probably the reason she'd also been dropped by most of the broadcasters too. This whole episode isn't so much about male presenters in Women's football, but more that SHE was being overlooked for broadcasting work. And that was broached with her, and she just kept saying she was as good and/or as qualified (if not better) than others still getting the work. She just cant accept that she wasn't really that good, kept dropping bollocks, and that is why no-one wants her on anymore.
  4. Talksport getting into the Punditry stuff with Aluko on shortly.
  5. The absolute arrogance in her response to what Laura Woods said. “For eleven years I have worked alongside the likes of Laura and all those considered the best pundits in the game. It's therefore clear I was considered one of the best too if I was part of the same punditry team.” “No one who has ever hired me as a pundit has said I wasn't good enough or did not have all the attributes Laura referred to. Quite the contrary." Anyway, she's on Talksport tomorrow morning up against Simon Jordan again, so might be a good listen!
  6. Hahaha, that 3rd goal Sboz complaining about that, he tried to pull Haaland back first
  7. Donnarumma has to dive for that, like. Reckon Pope saves it.
  8. Simon Jordan's take on David Hopkinson Interview yesterday. Cant disagree with much he says, really.
  9. We could get one of them nice American Owners the PL seem to love so much. We'd still need to know our place though, so not to upset or try to challenge the existing, bigger American owners, and not upset the status quo.
  10. Yeah, Gordon might not fancy it be injured anyway.
  11. I didn't expect to win last night, injuries, recent fixtures, away form, and already being 0-2 down from the first leg. What concerned me though, was how easily we were 3-0 down before half time. It was like City barely needed to get out of 2nd gear. First goal is a bit unlucky, Burns tackle coming back off Marmoush and spinning up and over Ramsdale, but the other two goals, just terrible. 2nd half we improved, but how much of that was City taking their foot off the gas and treating it more like a training session? Is saturday against Brentford a 'Must Win'?

    Nick Woltemade

I do feel sorry for him, and Wissa to a certain extent, in that I think neither benefits from not starting and playing a regular run of games. Woltemade was forced to start for us (probably sooner than planned) when he arrived due to Wissa's injury, and had a remarkable run where he didn't really get that many chances, but was scoring with the one per match he did get. Then against Chelsea, the two goals he scored, seemed like we or he had found out the type of forward he needed to be for us..... and he was on the bench the next game to start Wissa. Since then, it's been one or the other starting, with EH unable to, or unwilling to change his system to accommodate both together, apart from a rare occasion. Woltemade is clearly now lacking confidence, but that will probably only come back with another run in the team, and a goal or two. But same could be said of Wissa, who also doesn't look match fit. But rotation isn't helping that either, or him settle as a regular starting forward, and the regular 4-3-3 system doesn't seem to suit either of them.
  13. Well done Elanga. Matches Gordon's league goals from open play for the season.
