I always thought Trafford was a dubious buy for them anyway and they only really utilised the buy-back option, as they don't really buy that many English players (anymore), unless they can get them for decent value. Grealish being the exception, but perhaps they've learned from that one. Tino would certainly not be a bargain purchase for them, unlike Trafford, and Guehi recently.

Just catching up with posts after Saturdays match, but pleased for him that he played the full match, and grabbed a goal. Hopefully do his confidence a world of good, and he gets a bit of a run, even if its in the slightly deeper position.

Just hope once the ref sees the offside at HT, he might even it up in the 2nd half.

I saw something similar (may have been same article), and think it also mentioned Bayern Munich. If they didn't want to go to what we paid for him last summer, I cant imagine they even give us the same amount back to sell, so to them it should be a non-starter. I'd still like him to have more opportunities and a run in the side again, whether thats as the '#9' again like start of the season, or if we can utilise him and get something out of him in a deeper role. But as it is, starting him every other match, and using him as sub other times just isn't helping him. I think he needs another settled run in the side, in some sort of position, and see if it can help build his confidence back up.
