In one like he says 'if Newcastle open doors' then goes on to say 'if Newcastle get top striker, Liverpool bid again'. Hopefully if we do get Sesko it doesn't automatically mean we'll suddenly 'open doors' or invite another offer for Isak. But the entitled cunts will just bid again regardless, as they did yesterday.

Gotta keep saying Man Utd can still buy him if they want. Unthinkable that we might sign a player ahead of a competing cartel club.
-
Not the 'Isaac' he hoped to be writing about leaving Newcastle this weekend.
-
Of course, Sky Cartel News saying Man Utd can still go for Sesko before offloading players, as long as they still offload those players before the summer window shuts.
-
Have said this before, we should just sign who we can this summer, and if there are PSR issues for June 2026, sell Isak then. Strengthen our squad for a proper push in the PL/CL/Cups, and deal with what we have to next summer and fuck the cartel. Imagine Sesko AND Isak this season, and maybe Wissa too. Then bring in other players if we can too. After another (hopefully) good season, Isak may have other suiters anyway and a proper bidding war for him by end of next June.

Adidas putting the trefoil on away kits instead of 3rds next season. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2025/07/adidas-26-27-away-kits-trefoil.html

If its true about that £60m + £60m offer, then that just tells me that despite Sky/the sport media arsekissers dressing it up how they want, and saying Liverpool can afford to spend this amount this summer because of 'how well run they are', in reality, they cannot afford to lump £100m+ on Isak this summer, so they need to use Klarna for the cunt!
-
Yep, think "we're in the Endgame now". I do think now bidding has started, he'll end up there. But, I also think we'll stand firm on the valuation, and it'll be very close to or the full £150m. We MUST have 'replacements' signed/sealed lined up before we accept anything though, even making that a condition if we have to.

Did anything ever come of that Formula-E video that was filmed in town? Remember at the time it was suggested some commercial deal with Saudia and Formula-E, but seen/heard nothing since?
-
Wonder if that was part of why they did those murals around the town earlier in the summer (side of The Strawberry, Morden St, etc)?

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

Seen a few Burnley accounts mentioning it, but their source seems to be that 'Alonso Mateta' account? -
Is it Gewey, marra? #FTM I mean, fair play to them, fetching new bodies in. But articles/journos comparing their business to some of the established PL clubs, when Sunderland literally had a league 1/champo level squad and *had* to bring more players in to have any hope of stopping up.

Man City wanted him before these charges were brought against, didn't they? Knocking bet if we showed an interest in him, they'll step up again.

Yeah same. If personal terms have been agreed, then realistically, NUFC must have given LFC permission to approach the player/his agent, otherwise it is tapping up. That though goes against our supposed party line of 'He's not for sale'. Why would we allow them to offer/agree terms if he's not for sale? But I was talking about this with my son earlier in the week, and in the past a fee would be agreed with the selling club before being allowed to discuss directly with the player. Now, its seems you can agree terms with the player, turn his head, but then the selling club can be difficult and start pushing the price up, knowing the buying club wants him and he's prepared to go, so becomes a game of brinkmanship. Not sure when it all changed, but needs to go back to the way it used to be, in my opinion. Stop 'bigger' clubs unsettling players. And in that, I'd include us in the Wissa situation. Had we agreed a fee with Brentford first, then it could have been easier, before we even got to agree anything with the player (if we have).
