Yikes, what a massive oversight there would be from the club, a washed up Mackem.
-
Loaning out a 30m+ signing also makes zero sense. He will have had a year to adapt and I’m sure will be more trusted in the second half of this season/next ala Gordon.
-
We are at home and have a week to prepare, no reason why we can’t win this. I don’t fear anyone at SJP especially now are fixtures are easing off.
-
Absolutely not no. He’s one of the few home grown players we have for Europe and is a functional member of the squad. Also, it’s the sun. Zero credibility
-
It’s the sun, they just make things up.
-
wouldn’t get a game in our reserves, he’s an absolute donkey.
-
Irreplaceable we must keep him at all costs.
-
Get in, what a sweet victory. Mackems will be gutted, they don’t even have anything to cling on to, they weren’t robbed or hard done by they had literally nothing today.
-
Beale doing his best Gerrard impression here. We are in cruise control, hopefully we knock a few more past em.

The post is the confirmation

Singapore, all the champions league games were on at daft a clock, as well as a lot of league games. I’m sick of waking up at 3 or 4am to watch then going to work
-
Welcome to my world.

System will obviously have to be tweaked, would allow us to play a more athletic defensively capable 6 as well. Either way absolutely nothing to panic about.
-
I know it’s awful as far as we are concerned but it’s like a perfect move for him given he’s client in French and Marquinhos is one of them captains. Not that I want to lose him. I don’t fear it though; ultimately the Ashley days are behind us and I’m confident that we replace him and then some.
-
Haven’t watched but did he say why? Seems baffling.
-
Even if they do, it won’t be a success.

Nothing organic about success in football, the capital came in at large quantities for all big clubs just at different times.

To clarify in not asking we go down the route of legally challenging it, it’s politically not feasible for us to do so imo. What I’ve been referring to is the amount of low hanging fruit we haven’t taken advantage of. I’m all for us boxing clever but we should have given ourselves more leeway, instead we hear about the FFP limitations constantly whilst we don’t do what we can within the rules that exist.
-
Bro, I appreciate the response and agree to an extent. My point is we can and should have done much more as I’ve outlined in other posts. if we are to achieve the aims stated publicly we will require a lot of Investment and quickly.

In totally going off in the wrong thread here but w/e. final point on this subject from is for a club which loves to talk about FFP and how hamstrung we are by it we’ve don remarkably little to either challenge it or ease the situation. I wrote a post a few days ago in the PIF thread echoing similar sentiments but now I think about the sponsor side in no detail and consider how every transfer window FFP is brought up on a scale never seen before it really has me scratching my head wondering.

I think you’re being slightly harsh, I think the money we are getting from adidas is quite large, considering where we currently are. Also our rumoured placement of being an elite club is a big deal and I wouldn’t be surprised if that was Peter Silverstone doing. That being said I do find us slow to move and I’m really actually shocked we didn’t get this low hanging fruit sponsors done by now even if it’s PI linked companies. Maybe the club just lacks resources and support on the PIF said, I imagine they are a highly structured organisation.

Also to add on, usamanov also paid 30m for the OPTION to name the new stadium. The option. It’s also important to note FMV is only for related parties. If you get someone external your good for whatever you can get. I would love to know why this hasn’t been done yet et btw, I truly do struggle to comprehend this.

Because our owners and quite as on the ball as they get credit for. And this isn’t to knock them either it’s super low hanging fruit as you mentioned. The concerns about fair market value are of no relevance either as we can just sign short term 1 year deals until we scale. Man United deal 2011 with dhl for training wear was 40m. We are leaving so much on the table. Usmanov’s USM Holdings company began a five-year sponsorship of Everton’s training ground worth about £12m a year in 2017 From the guardian. The man united one is excessive but I’m sure we could argue FMV for half of a deal from 13 years ago. So that’s 20+m of free money left on the table per year which can be scaled. That’s a lot of FFP
