Not that I disagree about, but NUFC have finished higher than 8th exactly twice since Sir Robson was sacked and five times since 1996. This would represent a decent season, if their was any hope to build on it. And this is also one of the better squads we've had since SBRs days as well. Our of both cups with a whimper and humped in the derby what a good season we are having
-
We held our own for the first 20/25 minutes then went to s****. Santon in the middle ffs. Chelsea didn't even have to get our of first gear ffs. When they did they scored. We know he's working with constraints in place but that doesn't excuse the lack of motivation or the lack of any sort of tactical plan.
-
According to lowes that first half the reaction Pardew was looking for. Am I FUCKING Missing something? We showed nothing at all
-
Eighth place ffs. It's not a fucking achievement it's par for the fucking course. Last season has really made some NUFC fans stupid
-
Well some players need to a run in the side to grow in confidence and what not. Somewhat like he had earlier in the season when he was playing well.
-
According to John Anderson we had a go and showed some fight Clueless.
-
You forget the fact we have Pardew in charge. We'll most likely go 4-4-2
-
Missing Remy, Cabaye, Tiote, Colo, Gouffran ? And ?. Does that mean we have to play with zilch shape, zilch creativity, zilch heart, zilch organisation, zilch endeavour. The manager is f***ing useless. In isolation the missing players is actually a legitimate factor, problem is pardew has consistently shown it only takes the slightest of curve balls to screw him completely That's because his only "tactic" is too wait until the 70th minute before attacking teams who are better than us. Also note this tactic bears no relation to any sort of footballing tactic as we demonstrate on the pitch.

It's lucky we only need 1 win to stay up, i think we are going to lose ten or so of our last games. But we have stability Bimpy! That precious stability
-
I can accept losing, but in my book this goes down as yet another spineless cowardly didn't give it our all loss which I can' accept. The sooner he fucks off the better,
-
We've played right into chelsea's hands mind We've allowed them to play our from the back with ease and boss the game without any sort of trouble. If this is how "back to basics" looks it's going to be a long slog until the end of the season.

Pardew breaks his own record for ineptness with that sub.
-
Maybe it's frustration from MYB. After all he left his hometown club as capitain to be our 4th choice centre half. Also it's not like it matters, the comeback was never on.
-
All he can do is play it back and have our full back lump it forward which sounds like a great ploy. The problem is we don't have a fucking Pivot player. Also HBA can't effect the game from half way inside his own half ffs.
-
Try explain that in tactical terms to those who defend Pardew
-
We don't even look like a football team tbh. This is really pathetic stuff from us.
-
We've been poor in the first half, Chelsea really haven't had to try or work hard for anything. We haven't kept the ball and we also haven't retained our shape. I'd call it a poor first half personally.
-
To be fair our movement is no existent and the fact we drop off so far means we can't get out as Chelsea just push up and compress the play While true he keeps making f***ing dreadful passes forward that go straight to their players, even with s*** movement there's no excuse for it. But he makes us tick. Sissoko has been worse though. He should but he's not doing it today or last weekend for example. He should be our pivot player but it seems he's being asked to get forward and support the attack hence the mindless forward runs. Again as many have said before in a 4-2-3-1 you need two good holding players hence why José went out and bought Matic before buying a striker he needs as well.
-
He's no better than Ben Arfa according to some on here, like. Best player in the league atm IMO.

To be fair our movement is no existent and the fact we drop off so far means we can't get out as Chelsea just push up and compress the play That sounds familiar. As you know, Until we bin Pardew this will always be an issue. He doesn't understand the basics of football despite some peoples belief he's a decent manager/coach.

He will probly Sub Sammy again at HT
-
Nice to see Taylor busting a gut to be back in position
-
Why lump it to De Jong when he has no support ffs? I hope Krul gets a game for Holland so I can see if he does this bullshit for them as well.

To keep the score down
