Point being, if he was some insane prospect either they would have kept him and he breaks through or he goes to a club with a high stature than Bournemouth.

Mitchell’s reputation at Monaco was based upon trimming the wage bill and bringing through talents so it’s quite surprising to me we are after such players. We weren’t great, that goes without saying. I can’t help take positivity from the result though, we lose this game last season imo.

I think it’s perfectly understandable to rue his sale, obviously he’s has the potential to solve a pretty big issue for us on the right flank. That being said, it’s important to understand we didn’t image much choice. It’s quite clear the market for players we actually want to sell doesn’t really exists so we were left stuck. I’m sure if we are being honest with ourselves, we haven’t bought many players that we’d rather not have in order to keep him right?

He’s clearly come on quite a bit and is trusted a lot more by Eddie than previously. If this was last season he would be hauled off as soon as Schar was sent off. overall not his best day but he will learn and become a better player as a result.

He’s a very good player imo.
