  1. First was obviously gift wrapped and her second, we handle without issue with a defender who can actually move. I love Fabi but I'm sorry his mobility is absolutely embarrassing at this stage. God some of the stuff I witness from us is inexplicable given what we've spent.
  2. They'd be a lower midtable side in the PL imo. They are nothing special at all. Don't get me wrong intimidating atmosphere and all that but I don't look at many of the players they have and say id want them. I think ultimately we followed a familiar pattern. Looked good very sparse flashes and the rest of the time went from acceptable to catastrophic. PEA is what 36? If he's the answer to our problems we are absolutely fucked.
  3. Granted I was watching the game on my phone on my commute but I don't think we played well. We were ok though nothing truly terrible. Can't say for certain we would have won without popes error either. They created plenty of chances. We go low block yet still give up many chances it's odd.
  4. Oh yeah. Something is obviously wrong and given the difference in age profile in not expecting him to become a world beater like Hall. That being said, I do expect more than the Sunday league level he's shown this far.
  5. Far too early to be writing him off, despite the early signs looking concerning.
  6. They didn't get the rub of the green with the VAR decision for sure however they spent a fair whack if I'm not mistaken. (Again not of this is a knock on Eddie). Like every manager he's had his ups and downs.
  7. Problem is, and this isn't a knock on Eddie he ended up getting relegated. They came good way too late.

To add on to this, this is actually where those 3 windows of doing nothing due to PSR are really biting us. I mean don't get me wrong we haven't helped ourselves at all but the lack of consistent squad movement has been an issue for awhile. We are and do hold on to players for too long and take too long to integrate new players.

He's the prime example of simply us having too much work to do in one window. Like Trips we thought we could rely on them for another year and we were wrong.
  10. He has to fix the away form by hook or by crook. Doesn't even matter how it's done but we can't continue being Jekyll and Hyde we need consistency. Feels like everything hinges on keeping Hall and Tino fit.
  11. It's a big chance pissed away without doubt. Given the amount of games we are having to flog the likes of Bruno for skipping two additional games would have been great

Not going to go after him, it's been abundant clear we've needed a top goalkeeper for awhile yet here we are.
  13. It's the lack of output unfortunately, he looks tidy but his role is basically our most advanced midfield so he has to be creating and scoring chances. None of which he's done (this is not a knock on him) He's new and we obviously have to be patient though.
  14. Sorry to quote myself, I was just thinking back to this post and asking myself did we achieve any of this. I think we didn't. (Thiaw has been fantastic and obviously a great signing but id still want to see someone with really pace along side him). As for the second we obviously didn't get near what we needed. Watching us trying to play through a press is tragic and poor recruitment means Bruno and Tonali are going to be run into the ground.
  15. I think Ramsey hasn't looked bad but ultimately football is a numbers business and his contribution in terms of goals and assists is zero and given he was last off the bench and Willock started it's not looking great is it? It could well be the beading in period we know is a thing but if we buy players with " premier league experience" why is such beading in periods needed.
  16. Another disappointment away defeat. Baffling game to be honest. Can we please stop going Uber defensive after scoring 1 goal, not only do we usually concede but it's awful absolutely awful to watch. It's also absolutely mental academy teams are better at playing out than us.
  17. Will be a tough game, they've spent plenty and are managed by football hipsters favourite manager.
  18. It's the reason we actually need to change the rules and have players who do it sit out for say 15 minutes. Most referees are top stupid to recognise what they are actually doing unfortunately.
  19. Could be more, Brentford are good sellers. He had a big profile when they bought him so we must have passed on him at that point. Although on second thought, I'd be surprised if he didn't have a release clause.
  20. A lot, we missed that boat.
  21. City are the kings of tactical fouls, Pep is the god of this. They can fuck off crying.
  22. Might hinge on keeping Hall and Tino fit, We've been lacking confidence for sometime so beating city hopefully can be a catalyst.
  23. He absolutely nailed it against city didn't he? Really hope we can build on it and put one of those trademark Eddie runs together
  24. Squad cost isn't beneficial for us at all. We need to spend a lot and increase our wage bill so squad cost is really bad for us. Samuel is reporting selling assets to oneself loophole is closed too. So Chelsea have basically got themselves what? 400m of or free alliance and now nobody else can
