Half of them will need to graft a bit more by the sounds of the crypto chatter coming out of there.

Snow showers and North sea claimed many victims today. Only likely reason as I don't think it's wedding season anymore.

I sometimes call him out for inane runs into nowhere and being a bit wild, but last night he did it to such good effect man. Love him, so decent and it's infectious, one of the good guys.

Role reversal. French taking on the role of frothing football hooligans, and paully taking on the role of archetype french lothario. Confusing times

+1. Just because you're the sacrificial lamb for all of NUFC CL hopes, doesn't mean you can't have a lil fun.

He's certainly one of the largest soopa fans I've ever seen.

Whilst I do believe the atmosphere at St James' has changed (I do feel this is a widespread issue across PL, Villa fans are discussing the same thing on their forums for example), ther is definitely some revisionism going on here in regards to atmospheres. Trust need to make this a high priority and seek changes by the club going into next season. If they want St James' to be one of the most Intimidating places to go for away teams, then they need to allow for a structure that gets the most fervent supporters together in a standing/singing section. It almost feels to easy when you say it, but for some reason the ticketing is a mess.

Not arguing, but why are you so certain of that? I've been impressed with villa so far this season, and see no reason why they can't keep it up much like we did last season. I'd say pound for pound, they have a slightly better squad than us also.

Just stick his ear defenders on and give him a fun and laughter bar.

Have you seen his dish? Cunt looks like a conquistador ffs.

There are them big books with newspaper extracts in them, always make nice gifts. https://www.historic-newspapers.co.uk/gifts/sports-books/personalised-football-books/newcastle-football-book/ There was that book of images from a fans perspective from last season called The Entertained. https://www.floodlightson.com/photobook/p/the-entertained Backpage is probably the best shout for everything Newcastle, especially from days gone.

Played for school teams and for killingworth, was only ever average at best but absolutely loved every bit of it. If not at a club, I was playing football for hours on end with mates. It's just the done thing for kids isn't it. Get a lot of joy from watching my nephew make his first foray into club football and I can almost feel myself wanting to run on the pitch and piledrive a shot past a 10 year old keeper shouting shearer and wheeling away with my hand aloft.

Not all hero's wear capes mate.

Canny sad that like, these players have put it all out there and we are stetched thin atm. Wish fans could apply some patience here, but I'm also not a fan who has travelled down to the south coast tonight.

Fair do's. "Look kids this is Nile Ranger, try your hardest to be anything but this"

I think there was a video going around with some lads singing a version with Ritchie in it mind.

Didn't bother posting last night as some of the takes here seemed at odds to me, but I'm still proud of the club. Yeah I'm disappointed, yeah that wasn't the best version of us, but there is absolutely no shame in being humbled by Europe's elite when even by our own admission, this CL experience came a bit too early for us. This is all a learning curve for these players, our manager who has never managed a club in Europe, and a club that is still at a delicate stage of it's rebuild. I'm disappointed, but not upset. I'm seriously proud of my club and proud of how the fans have carried themselves around the continent (atmosphere/singing is a separate concern). Onto the weekend and let's sign off for a welcomed break with 3 more points.

Eddie Howe throwing me a swazza with that lineup. Howay the lads, give it your all

Mental that shirt like. Like umbro put forward their final two designs and Newcastle just went "yes".

I had to explain to my 9 year old daughter about the Tyne wear derbies when we were in town the other day (there is a toon & safc shirt in the window of Newcastle uni) because she didn't know what team it was. Was canny flabbergasted that I'd have to explain something so deep rooted(at least for me and probably anyone 20+ years) to anyone, but that's how long it's been and how insignificant they've became. Or how sportswashed I am now
