Went Chester races yesterday and clocked Joey Barton standing next to us, he was with a pretty big group so couldnt be bothered to interrupt him for a word.

Wouldnt surprise me if the only reason we've not shown interest for Cabaye because other teams are genuinely interested in him so we wouldnt be able to drag it out for a few weeks and he might actually indicate in the press he'd move back to us putting more pressure on themselves to actually sign him.

I hope we get Mitrovic, dont really have a clue about him but I seem to always end up liking these players who are abit of a dick.

Its depressing to think that Blackburn spent 8million Rhodes from a League 1 team 3 years ago, Fulham spent 11mill on McCormack and Nottingham Forest 7mill on Assombalonga. Yet last season we would of made more than 2 of them put together probably all 3 and we're looking in the same price bracket as them.

I'd take Ince, hes better than what we've got. He had Pulis as his manager at Palace and Bruce at Hull, neither of which would of had a clue why he would try and take players on. He did well at Derby last season under McClaren so I reckon he would be worth a shot, I read Derby have a 5mill buy out clause in the loan.

I think at the moment now I'm basically just about to climb on the fence again but If we get anymore of this petty s*** from the club or blatant lies I'll soon be f***ing back the way I come. If positive steps are taken all the way until the start of the season then Ill get behind McClaren and if he gets us playing some decent stuff I think I'll get into again and be able to embrace any cup win, I've had enough of hating the club at the moment so I'm just willing to give it a try again but wont be doing anything apart from watching from the Pub or at home. When we beat City 2-0 this season in the cup I sat there thinking what if we actually won this, I couldnt think of anything worse than Pardew winning us a trophy.

Put £3.60 on Stabaek, Oviedo, Rosenborg and Sampdoria, got £1.40 on the same but Oviedo DNB Put Stabaek 11/5 and Oveido 5/1 on when they were 0-0 at HT but both won 1-0, so I just know Rosenborg are going to mug me off at 1/5.

Brought a couple of shares in Oviedo when they were selling them online, was hoping to get into following them a little but just never have. Glad they've gone up but I got more of a buzz that I put them on a accumulator at 5/1 when it was HT and they won rather than them being promoted, it might give me a kick start to taking an interest now though.

I dont know what to think about this. Man City is a step up from Liverpool and somewhere where he has more chance of winning titles and I think he'd replace Navas, maybe he sees it as an ideal place to further himself, better his career and a change of surroundings is ideal for him and I wonder is there anything wrong in wanting that. But I just think its stupid to be making all of this fuss to leave Liverpool at 20 where he'd have a team built around him, has been developed potentially into a world class player and a team not particularly that far off being at the same level as City with the right signings. The best thing for him was to accept the 100k a week, if he keeps improving as a player and they fail to get in the CL in the next 2 seasons or win anything and he wanted to leave youd accept it. He'd have Madrid, Chelsea, Barca, Bayern, City after him for 200k+ a week guaranteeing him 1st team football. It wouldnt surprise me if his agent wants a payday and has been in his ear about how he should be at clubs winning trophies and that Liverpool aren't treating him right or with any respect ect.

Just watched a youtube video of him while he was here, man it was depressing as fuck. The treatment of Ben Arfa and the subsequent demise of any attacking football since is still the thing that riles me up the most of anything in recent years. With any luck Pardew will have to sell Bolasie in the summer, he'll soon be back to norm then.
