I think its fair to say the majority of us grew fond of this mad bastard. Sad to see him go, it just seems like Rafa never fancied him. Hope he goes on to bang goals in where ever he is.

Set us up with a plan and got us playing as a unit which I've not seen us do in my life, hes also managed to get a group which we can get behind. I had my reservations as him before the World Cup but hes changed my perception of the national team and him, but I believe he cost us with having no other tactic or plan. The way we've gone out and the cards we got handed that was literally our chance to get to a final, but we got knocked out by Croatia which is really a nation we should be beating.

I really rated him so disappointed he didnt get a fair enough chance imo, if Rafa doesnt want him then I cant complain and we've become pretty solid defensively and we need funds to spend so he was pretty much a goner. If we havent got a sell on clause then whoever negotiates the deal needs to be sacked on the spot.

I still dont know what to think of him, I think hes been vital in the goals hes scored this season but every time he has the ball he either holds on it to long, plays an awful pass or just doesnt seem to believe in himself when trying to beat a man. Theres alot of times promising positions are let down by him. Not that I dont like him like, hes great off the ball in work rate and getting in the right place. I just see him as somebody as we could easily replace footballing wise but not in terms of what he gives us.

There's defo something in the argument that players like Alli and co won't want him there and is a reason he won't get picked. Absolutly pathetic, if Southgate can't feel like he can manage him then he shouldn't even be a manager. Imagine spain doing it sith Barca and Madrid players.

I dont know why but this just feels like one of the most ridiculous exclusions I've seen, obviously more because we've seen what Shelvey can do week in week out but hes a player England are crying out for. He should be in the fucking 1st team never mind in the squad. I'm not arsed about Lascelles getting in because at the end of the day hes just a solid defender and although Id take him there are other viable options. As for Shelvey i think its actually criminal for a fucking manager to not even consider him when hes clearly somebody who could have a impact. Hes happy to take all the positive press and plaudits for playing 'youth' and he'll get that for taking Sessengon if he does, but I sure know he aint gonna win us the World Cup and is a complete waste of a place on the plane.

We should defo be looking at Bauer from Stoke. Doubt Stoke would be looking to sell and considering he moved in Jan I cant imagine him having much of a choice in what Stoke say, so would have to pay a decent fee. Feel he'd be an ideal fit for us and Rafa though.

Love the guy and wish he was staying, since our turgid plummet since Ashleys been here I've found myself more tuned in to the cult/nutjobs players like Ameobi, Mitro, Ben Arfa, Ranger (now a dick) and Barton on the pitch than anything else to be fair. I genuinely dont think we'll see anyone like Mitro again though, what a character and mad bastard. After last season I wasn't convinced by him, thought he'd be full of mistakes this seasons. Proven me wrong and it showed when he was missing this season. I still think hes pretty limited player but hes probably our most important, abit like Shawcross at Stoke a few years back.

He looked good for the first 25 minutes then did absolutely nothing after.

Look lost when he was on the ball, dont know if he even made a forward pass.

I think he just doesnt suit us now as a team. Holding the ball up, making it stick or creating opportunities to win a 2nd ball seem more important at the moment plus we arent controlling games like we did. Obviously he isnt fit but I think hes still a good option for us and has goals in him at this level.

Really not Prem level, he panics to much when hes pressured and then either makes the wrong decision or fucks his pass up. Really needs to be dropped imo.

Arsenal must think would you rather have 50mill and miss out on the CL or nothing and probably miss out on the CL Moneys always seemed to hold alot higher value to Arsenal than all there rivals I can imagine them seeing 60-65mill after City have thrown that at them and taking it.

The guys had 120 minutes for us, probably wasn't 100% fit and played when we virtually created nothing for him in 2 awful team performances. Gayle needs to stay, stupid to get rid, even more so with 2 days to go. He'll score goals and we need him.

At 5 million you cant complain and hes not complete garbage player but I dont think hes a goalscorer, which is completely what we should be looking for. Not really convinced by it but I suppose its a signing, shouldnt really be getting to that stage though.

Tbf if your thinking about your career as a footballer, who wouldnt choose Evertons academy over ours. Knowing someones paying 6million for you aswell will only show how serious they are about developing you.

I get that they need to change things up abit but that is fucking dreadful, I'd expect it from Puma but not Nike.

Forgot about this chap, obviously if he stays fit and is anything like the guy we signed I reckon he'll be useful for us this season. Hopefully he can get an early goal in the season and get a bit of confidence built.
