I genuinely feel this is going to be a long hard season. Last season I felt Shelvey, Ritchie and Gayle were the only ones with PL quality and we look reluctant to spend anything huge to change that. My major concern is our defence and CM position, it just doesnt look all to great. Alot will depend how well we start the season off like and we have a good set of fixtures. I've gone for 15th for now.

Would be someone I can imagine Benitez would like the look of aswell, I'd certainly be happy if he signed him.

Have Bournemouth actually brought anybody useful since theyve made it in the prem? Swear they get all the best players on frees and spunk millions on subs.

I can only picture him in the role of a sub when we've 'shut up shop', not entirely sure when that'll happen though.

With Gayles injury proneness this makes sense, he'll definitely get game time if hes good enough. I believe him or Gayle will score goals for us but obviously an experienced goalscorer have been ideal.

Hes been past it for a few seasons. Pretty weird one in all fairness how he dropped off, seems like a good players still in there but has just totally lost it. He just hasnt looked after himself, when you see the likes of Ronaldo, Ibra, Messi, Lampard and co they kept themselves fit and in top shape, Rooneys hardly ever looked in amazing shape his whole career.

Dont understand why hes basically been 1st choice all season, if he wasnt picked as captain I think he'd of been dropped more but Rafas digging himself to deep with this one. Just dont see anything other than passion in him, he just seems like a lumbering frigid fuck up waiting to happen every game. He isnt quick, terrible on the ball, no agility and gets caught out all the time, he doesnt even put his size to good use half the time. Granted hes chipped in with some goals and solid performances early in the season, but the amount of mistakes he makes considering he doesnt deal with half of what most defenders in the league deal with is terrible. Its just even more frustrating when Mbembas been shafted for so long.

Hes the sort of player we've been missing in a few games this season, makes an impact just by running at a full back which we hardly see. Theres a great player in him especially in the Championship and did well to keep going for the full 90. First time shooting certainly isnt his strongest asset

Egypt were the last team i was waiting for £215, thought they'd be able to beat a terrible Cameroon team with Salah and the Arsenal lad. They were absolutely awful though, striker up top with no idea, a completely deranged number 8, 2 centre backs from Sunday league and a 60 year old immobile keeper. They just hoofed it aimlessly forward hoping Salah would do something and hoped Cameroon would remain unable to string 2 passes together all game. Woeful.

I think hes a good player, hes good at winning the ball back and not afraid to put a tackle in and isnt afraid to come further up the pitch at times. Hes got a lot to learn still and makes sloppy mistakes but its not like he doesnt contribute so I dont think he deserves much criticism.

Who I played in a H2H league had Van Dijk as captain and beat me by 3 points because he had 2 bonus points, the bastard conceded 4 goals ffs and got a bonus.

Personally I thought he did a good job of letting Hayden try and play his usual role aswell of letting him fill Shelveys role aswell.
