Das ist wirtlich schön.

What has actually been confirmed about him? Sure Howe must have at least somewhat directly explained why a £55 million player who was signed as he was supposed to be an instant impact player and who has been fit since December isn't even getting off the bench. I don't want repeat of rumours or hearsay.
-
I don't think a price has been suggested. Without putting a great deal of thought into it I suggested Chelsea would want that. I look forward to my fictional £50 million price tag being quoted authoritatively by some wannabe Romano on Twitter, the Internet is a marvelous thing no?
-
Pass. They'll want £50 million for reasons and I don't want us to fund their horrible model. Sorry Liam but it was fecking obvious this was going to happen, enjoy the splinters in your arse.

I was far more annoyed at drawing Man City away in the FA Cup then watching the customary loss by 2 goals as I felt we had a real chance of winning that this year. The Champions League is fun, but not something I get worked up about provided you get past the group stage and so get that extra money. Because that's what football is all about these days right. Lovely, lovely money 🤑 🤑 🤑

Sandro Tonali - Spurs have £80m bid rejected by NUFC (SSN)
Geordie_once_removed replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
I could accept losing Tonali if the money was used to bring back Anderson and help improve the team elsewhere. I would like us to have a more dedicated DM who protects the defense and recycles possession quickly, so many of the goals conceded this season have been from a lack midfield shielding. -
Also I feel like Garth Crooks talking about Premier League players hair. Not a good feeling.
-
Is it just the hair or is he actually that much of a gobshite? The hair blinds me so I can't tell.

Chelsea 0-1 Newcastle United (14/03/26) | post-match huddle pg. 30

Where the fuck did that come from the cunts. -
I was very unconvinced by him until at least January, he just seemed like a nothing player. He's been great the last few games and his absence was one of the reasons we capitulated against Man City. Very happy to have been wrong, long may it continue.
-
That's the voice of bitter experience right there.
-
I don't disagree but the owners aren't the same as the fans, we're also not exactly best placed to criticise other club's owners are we. Bar Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea I don't really care about other clubs doing poorly beyond how it serves our needs. Even Sunderland don't bother me that much as I just find them mostly irrelevant.
-
I get the whole "Big 6 going" down justice angel, but I don't want us to go all Villa fans on this and getting overly gleeful. There is no historic rivalry, they just don't mean that much to us (or us them) for me to be that bothered.
-
Well returns rarely work out, so based on that it would be nice to see him back.......... .................... to see it all blow up in his and Liverpool's collective faces.
-
Gives me more a tech wiz henchman to the baddy in a 90s action movie feel there. Not sure why. The glasses perhaps.
-
Before the game I felt Man U's position was deceptive and that they had had the rub of the green in more than a few game. I'm even more convinced of that now. Bar rodent Bruno (who terrorised us with some outrageous balls into the box) they were average. I want them to spoon a couple more wins then King Rat gives Carrick the job before an end of season collapse sees them miss out on Champions League football. Then they have disappointing season before sacking Carrick in March.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed
Geordie_once_removed replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
First choice until the end of the season based off that. He was excellent. The defence were so much more comfortable passing to him. It created a lot more angles out of defence. -
Rivera brings back very dark memories, not least because I was low key sure he would do well.
-
He's costing us points quite regularly now.

Newcastle United vs. Everton: 28/2/26 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

I'm excited to see Elanga, Woltemade and Gordon upfront. Is this the first time they have started together? If he drops a little and the others run beyond him it could work really well. -
