  1. Everything is done in style. It's just their are many styles. I'm currently slobbing out, in the style of a sloth.
  2. I get ya. League's been decided and we're still in a cup. Happy days.
  3. TBF Journalists report news. Not history. Few of them have the capacity to remember last weeks results without hiring a researcher.
  4. Have never heard anyone call it the sports direct arena in my life Clearly bollocks 1. We didn't call it that when it was named that. 2 He didn't say people called it that.
  5. He still is the Godfather of Goals, y'all.
  6. And pulls out a half eaten sausage roll.
  7. It's not crap though. At this point we are better off than last year. Whether it lasts is up for debate / probably unlikely, but at the minute it's a fact. That doesn't mean Bruce is a better manager, just that we are doing better at present. And there lies the annoyance. While it may be a fact we've got more points than this stage last season, as you say that doesn't make Bruce a better manager. IMO merely quoting the 'Got more points' sentence suggests we're in better hands than under Rafa. We've got more points but this club IS NOT better off since the summer. It's a short sighted view to suggest we are. How can you accuse me of being short sighted when I've actually said it's unlikely to last? That's part of the problem now people aren't allowed to judge anything in a positive way ever. The evidence is above with people claiming more points is irrelevant. Its not, its (however temporarily it may be) better. Ignore he bigger picture, we've got points. Thanks for proving my point in bold. I mean, your welcome and all. Except I haven't.

  9. Was it originally a 100k seater?
  10. It certainly was. Doesn't look spectacular, in fact he makes it look easy, but it was outstanding.
  11. Do they have a goalscorer in their ranks?
  12. I thought exactly the same. And then came Villa.
  13. Great to see the neo-liberal programming is working, and fascism is spreading throughout the digital world, before we go fully simulated. Suggesting people stay away from the community [of which they've been a part for years] because of their dissatisfaction in the things upon which the community was founded. OK Millennials.
  14. Pep's delighted with a point. It was just an honour to pit his team against the tactical genius of Steve Bruce.
  15. The gys that invented VAR have already created VAVAR. Gonna test it at Euro 2020. 3 years time Thierry Henry will patent VAVARVOOM. And at last ophthalmic opticians will get involved.
  16. Aye, I understand apathy or even antagonism towards the regime, but I can't get behind celebrating when the other team scores like. Even more so when it's one of the plastic, money clubs like City scoring. Pretty much where I am. It's very easy to celebrate (only a mental 'ha ha' for me, no jumping around) when you view the club as Sports Direct United rather than Newcastle United. I sort of understand that perspective but it still seems odd to me to keep watching, if I legitimately wanted us to lose every week and no longer considered the team in black in white to represent Newcastle I think I'd probably give it a miss until I felt differently. To continue watching seems masochistic at best. It is. But as we all know, addictions are damaging. Have some sympathy.
  17. Their wives probably sent them. Sick of them hanging around the kitchen.
  18. Most people would be on their arses trying to score his second against Swansea
  19. He's suffering in the same way Perez used to, lack of options. Rafa solved that, and then we go back to square one, by getting rid of 2/3 of the jigsaw. Now we've gone and bought 2 magic eye pictures to replace them.
  20. We are certainly defying expectations. However defying expectations has never been a blueprint for long-term success.
  21. Fucking no way. You just know that will be made into an article by The Chronicle twitter page and be tweeted out 99999 times a day for the next few days Bottom of most attacking stats yet Jenas reckons we’re better going forward. How can Jenas watch that and make out it’s a more attacking approach. Jenas is a fucking gobshite. Just because he can talk eloquently does not mean he has a fucking clue what he’s on about. See Jordan, Simon; Galloway, George and Pardew, Alan for further evidence. Which Jenas are you talking about?
  22. Howay man. We play with 5 at the back, a DM and demand our wingers track back. Somebody has to have the freedom to find space. He plays further back than Hayden, seems pointless even getting to the byline, there's never anyone in the box when the cross goes in. Aye but he's not in the team for his defensive qualities. Hayden is. Which is why it's annoying to see him behind Hayden. Would prefer someone who gets in the box now and again. Oh I totally agree. But if we play deep then he's going to be deep.
  23. Don't like Alli, but hats off to him today.
