  1. That’s it for me. While putting the membership down to £1 and never once promoting ourselves as a protest group. As an organisation we will do more and achieve more with a bigger member base. What we're working on in the background is really exciting and is why we made a big drive for members (event at a quid). We've done a hell of a lot since the summer, but you won't see most of it yet. In most of what we do we can't do it with a running commentary in the public eye or else things will fail - this is how the world works - half baked ideas, plans, programmes - they fail. If you're not a protest group then how can you be planning anything exciting in the background? Obvs can't talk about it. This is how the world works fellas. "Give us your money so we can do what we can't tell you, and keep believing it will only ever happen if you don't know what's going to happen.
  2. He's actually Leader of the Free World.
  3. No, just seems that if it's close some people think it can't be given as offside, even if it is. My issue is this level of semantics and close inspection when it should boil down to was any advantage gained from someone being a few cms offside, the law was made to stop goal hanging not to be nitpicky bastards Goal hanging? Mooching.
  4. Whatever you do, in protest, don't rip out the seats. Ashley's just waiting for the chance.
  5. Surely the deal that Caulkin has never spoken about still has a chance.
  6. Thick cunt doesn't even realise that under par is better than par.
  7. My first day in Spain, I walked past a bunch of kids and they taunted me, shouting "Ey, Blanchito" Racist fucks.
  8. Could be 15 if they just slow down.
  9. H looks like an party balloon that has deflated slightly overnight.
  10. Reading it in full, it seems undeniable that there are aspects to Beardsley's character, that are simply unacceptable. I don't mean the bullying, I was working in one of the busiest bars in town, at 17, so I don't think of 18 year olds as children who need to be protected, but to use race as a tool for that bullying, is unforgivable. I remember when Alan Hansen was called out for using the term 'coloured', then I argued that to call him racist was an over-reaction, and I still stand by that, but this is blatantly racist. Not in a white supremacy kind of way, but the most insidious kind of way.
  11. Just passing comment on the tweet. Fair enough.
  12. Joe L. Inton. "We do both kinds. We do Country AAAND Western".
  13. Is that an official statement on the case? So not much was actually proven. *Only just read point iii) i) proven that he said "You should be used to that", but unclear as to how many people he said it to, and in what context it was said. The fact that it is possible he only said it to one person, is evidence that they could not prove he said it to more than one person. Otherwise the statement would read "to more than one person...". With that in mind, anything is possible. People say "you should be used to that" in relation to many things. It's more often than not used as a piss-take amongst friends, based upon an understanding of each other. I grew up with it and it can sting, sometimes. Maybe it's an element of toxic masculinity, although I'm sure lasses do it too. ii) Again, "one or more". And it's unclear, what was said, and to whom. Again anything is possible. Are we all now racist for questioning Oba's age? Are the older among us, harbouring deep-seated racial hatred that has marinated since the days of Julian Joachim? I hope not. Rooney. That's my get out of jail card. iii) Ah. Righto. Cheers Pedro mate. You fucking dipshit. Still, again there is no context [in that statement] and there remains the possibility that he simply called him a 'cheeky monkey' and there was no intention. * I managed to grasp one straw, not brilliant. Of course the one context remains, he was found guilty. And with a guilty verdict it's easy to fill in the blanks and imagine the worst possible story. But howay man. It's Pedro. Stupid fuck at worst, surely?
  14. We'll get hammered, and this cunt will take credit for Henderson's performance.
  15. Should make it so that referees can stop the game to bring things to the attention of VAR.
  16. They'll score the same number of pages this thread reaches. We'll get the ball in their box once, but VAR will call it back to look at a blond lass in the crowd.
  17. TBF I remember him putting in a helluva shift, against Man U, one year.
  18. "I thought wuh did well to contain them in the last 80 mins"
  19. Love how that line has never died. The truth is, their wives tell them to fuck off outta the house.
