  1. Feels like a big chance to do them, with their injuries and playing in Turkey. They’re relatively comfortable in the Europa, so wonder if he goes half-arsed tomorrow?

    Match Atmosphere

Pre-match and the first five minutes I thought PSV were quite loud, but the early goal seemed to completely kill them. And as has been said, if you barely have a shot it can be difficult to drum up anything other than defiance noise (which they didn’t manage either).
  3. No, I love our best current combination being used.
  4. There probably is tbf. You can definitely get cans of Brewdog.
  5. Madri, Carling or Cider…. Actually it probably depends where you are in the ground. And whether bottles/cans are included.
  6. Club now publically publishing away allocation numbers. PSG - 2000 Liverpool - 3058 Man City (CC) - 5359 Spurs - 3038 Villa - 6515 Man City (PL) - 3065 Sure they’ll still be plenty questions around how many go to players, corporate etc., but nevertheless, another step in the right direction in terms of transparency.
  7. I’m not sure you can move someone just cos they’re ‘old’ like, but I take your point. If safe standing is extended, you’d hope anyone that doesn’t want to stand would opt to move, rather than just remain there and be miserable about what’s going on around them. Appreciate from the club’s pov it’s not the easiest thing in the world to facilitate significant seat movement, but it’s probably something they have to suck up and do. Offer fuck that move a 10/20% discount on next season to try and placate some of the likely ill-feeling.
  8. Think this lads got issues…. https://x.com/footycentralx/status/2013732501043192121?s=46&t=OQLMckSuatbpqWF13Al4mQ
  9. If they’re of that mindset, do you think not waving a flag for two mins will result in them not sitting down and saying fuck all?
  10. What do you suggest? Realistically? I can’t think of anything other than creating standing/singing areas and moving people about.
  11. I think it’s the opposite actually, to a point anyway. The fact that we’re a good team now, has massively increased expectations, and with expectation comes complacency. Or just the fact that these occasions are now viewed as the norm, and not a special occasion. Last week’s semi final a good example. Of course there are plenty of other factors that have been well-documented previously, but I feel like the above is one of the biggest contributors, even if it is just human nature to a degree.
  12. March TV fixtures due out today. Probably be asterisks galore like, with European fixtures still tbd.
  13. Suspect this will be the future of our away games going forward. Although presumably at lot easier to implement for European as generally everyone is in the area in good time. Do they do that for domestic aways?
  14. And Liverpool finished top and ended up with PSG.
  15. Just seen Brighton’s attendance figure from last night. 30,172 - just over 1000 less than normal. Judging from how it looked on TV they must have as many ‘season card’ holders that don’t turn up as the mackems.
