Hope Lampard does well. He comes across as a humble, intelligent and likeable guy. He wasn’t blessed with loads of natural talent so had to graft his bollocks off to become a top player, i’m sure he’ll apply the same work ethic into becoming a good manager. He’s one i’d genuinely like to see succeed.

There has been quiet noise about him leaving for a good few months now through various internet sources and i’m sure i’ve heard the presenter on Totalsport mention him leaving on 2 or 3 occasions so there could be some truth to it. What i don’t understand though, is that he was only on loan here initially, so why did he sign permanently if he didn’t like it here? It’s a weird situation. FWIW i really hope he stays as i think he could be a top class performer in a couple of years.
