  1. It’s insanity to even consider selling Lascelles at present. He’s our most important player, our leader and a club icon. The only time we should consider selling is if he suddenly becomes s***/injury prone or starts thinking he’s bigger than the club.
  2. Get in Mitro!!! Proving all the clueless bellends on here wrong!!!
  3. This is the key for me. Too often we only play well for 30 or 45 minutes. Keeping a good level of performance for 90 minutes was the difference between getting skull-fucked and taking the 3 points against Manure.
  4. Charnley will be monitoring the situation and preparing to swoop with a “take it or leave it” bid of £4.36.
  5. Absolutely! I can’t work out which of their self-styled names are the shittest, The Black Cats or The Stadium of Light? Both fucking horrendous!
  6. Wasn't it more a Graham Carr idea to appoint him. That was the story at the time so you’re probably right. I still want to blame Charnley aswell though ?
  7. This knacker currently on SSN talking bollocks. He’s massively overstating the obvious but you can tell in his tone of voice that he thinks he’s giving viewers a wonderful expert’s insight into how the game works. Charnley wants hung for thinking that this gimp was ever good enough to manage us.
  8. No shock there. Owen barely broke a sweat in the 2nd half of that season, the snidey little rodent.
  9. Eyeh, yi forgettin 6 in a rowe marra! FTM
  10. what an image A bunch of racist, nonce-sympathising, pitch-invading apes. A perfect end for them!
  11. They won’t stay up this time. There is a fair amount of glamour/romance associated in fighting to stay in the Premier League and winning, as pointed out by “Catts” in his pathetic interview this week. You don’t get anywhere near enough attention for battling to stay in the Championship and i don’t think these gutless, overpaid wasters have got the heart for it if there’s no glory in it for them. They were known as the shit that won’t flush, this year they’ll melt like a boiling turd in a kettle ?
  12. Got battered at home again!!! I almost feel sorry for them now!!! Said no one ever!
  13. I see that Sessegnon kid scored again, some talent! Hope he doesn’t sign for Chelsea or Man City in the summer.
  14. it happen I’m sure it’s when he got a song. Great times!
  15. Anyone remember when he had a little puple patch where he was solid for about 2 or 3 months? I’m sure i wasn’t hallucinating
  16. Dummett is quite slow over the first couple of yards but his top-end pace easily matches most wingers. It’s not often you see him get done in a race. FWIW i’m not a huge fan of his as he’s so awkward with the ball, BUT i have a seen some signs of improvement in recent months - his forward passing seems a little bit more crisp so maybe it’s something he’s working hard on? Defensively he’s decent and has defintely improved that position since he came back, although it’s fair to say being an upgrade on an out-of-positon Manquillo isn’t really a huge compliment. I’d like to see him stay at the club but ideally i’d like to see us sign a more attack-minded left back for certain fixtures where the opposition sit deep and try to frustrate us (Brighton for example). Dummett is ideal for games where we know we’re not going to have a lot of posession though.
  17. We've had some batshit f***ers at our club. “I WILL CRACK YOUR SKULL!” Holy fuck!!
  18. Aye i think he played well. Involved in some key moments and ran his bollocks off. Still need more from him though, some goals would be nice!
  19. My mate told me that there was some Man U fans in the Strawberry Corner singing “Shearer took you down” and they got chinned.
  20. Aye excellent first game back. I’m still not convinced he’s as good on the ball as some people make out mind, he played a terrible ball into midfield that nearly led to a goal and also played a couple more dodgy ones, but you could put that down to lack of sharpness i suppose. Really hope he stays fit and looks as solid as that for the rest of the season.
  21. I think we’ll see an improvement in his performances now he’s got the monkey off his back.
