Calling Clark a hoof merchant is harsh IMO. Pretty sure he played the ball through for Murphy’s goal at Man City and played a good pass to set up one of our goals at West Ham aswell. He can play but is maybe just not as confident as he should be. -

Were fans against SBR at that point? Was it a bit like the Wenger In/Out conundrum with Arsenal fans or was it something else? Fans being “against” him is probably the wrong term. You always have some irrational loudmouths but i think the general feeling was that Bobby was getting a bit passed it and should have been respectfully moved upstairs into a DoF or ambassador type role. We’d started to play a lot of predictable long ball crap that season and there were reports that players were taking the piss so it was quite obvious his tenure was coming to an end. No one expected Souness when we easily could’ve attracted much better though. It was probably the equivalent of Arsenal replacing Wenger with Mark Hughes today. -
He couldn’t help mentioning playing 2 games in the space of a few days either. Had a quick scan of a West Brom forum last night, quite a few of them have figured him out already, while the rest of them still seem be fooled by his “football on the front foot” patter. 2 years of watching Pulisball seem to have clouded their perception of what good football is, and Pardew has played them perfectly to be fair to him.

I’d love to know what Colback or anyone speaking out for him thinks he has done to demand respect.

Gaycastle? An insult used by RTG a few months ago that someone on here reminded me of the other day. -

Was hoping we’d turn our home form around but i’ve now accepted the fact we’re s*** at St James and we need to target away games like this for our points. Palace are a weird side with an unbalanced squad, they’ve got some really good players mixed with some terrible ones so they’re quite hard to predict. I just hope we approach the game similar to the West Ham and Stoke ones where we were sharp to the ball and looked to attack with purpose. If we do that then i think we’ll get a good result. I’d like to see - Dubravka De Yedlin. The big fella. Clark. Dummett. Diame. Merino. Murphy. Perez. Kenedy Gayle Think Rafa will go with something different with us playing midweek, i wouldn’t be surprised to see him start Shelvey, Manquillo and Ritchie. I hope not though as we seem to be play better without them. Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 Gaycastle -
Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

Keegan (again) nailed it when he simply stated he doesn't understand football. That's it in a nutshell for me. On another note it serves as an important point to people questioning PCP when they said they'll buy the club only if Rafa is there. We literally have one of the few managers in world football you'd trust to rebuild an entire club from the ground up. Insisting on him as part of the deal makes perfect sense to me. Aye ? -
Wow class that like.

I can absolutely see “The Club” doing something cowardly and snidey regarding this, it’s just how they roll. No doubt it’ll be left to some fairly insignificant member of staff to do the dirty work aswell. -
Fulham’s ground has character but that’s about as far as it goes. The atmosphere is always crap in their end, the only noise you hear is when they score and they have a neutral section FFS! Bit of a pointless club really.

What he said.

Good luck Mitro! You’ll be back in favour next season when Rafa’s gone. I’ve heard Tim Sherwood is a huge fan of yours.

Aye, quite a lot of journos seem to be overly keen to paint Staveley in a bad light. Is there any reason for this? Other than the possibility that she’s declined interviews with most of them then i can’t really think of one.

That has got to be the most generic NUFC transfer deadline report i’ve ever seen. Shit loan move for youngster ✅ Deadwood available ✅ Outgoing deal must be done before an incoming deal ✅

Sounds like a top bloke him mind

Can’t blame Sturridge really. He can pop to his mam’s for tea every day as soon as he gets injured again. I’m not bitter at all, honest!

Signing a Brazilian for a big fee close to deadline day? -
Been thinking for a while that his PSG move was just a convenient detour from Barca to Real.

Nicolai Jorgensen to stay at Feyenoord
Away Day Gadgie replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
Haggling over a few million is such backward logic in the grand scheme of things. If we’d just payed the asking price we could have the deal all wrapped up by now and the player could be starting to get settled in his new environment, with his new team mates. It would give him a much better chance to hit the ground running and help win us some points. Obvioulsy the fat piss head and his baldy little cock slave don’t understand any of this. -

Aye. Can’t help but think this is bang on. -

Yep, offering 70% of their asking price will have Feyenoord snapping our hands off! Typical Ashley tactics, can see this going nowhere as usual. -
Probably a CM and a number 10. There have been so many experimentations in those areas it suggests he’s not happy with them at all.
